I'm a little divided on this review, so please bear with me. Firstly, the staff, the rooms, the hotel itself are great. The staff who checked us in where super friendly, helpful, and accomdating (we arrived before check in and they gave us rooms). Room was spotless, and general hotel condition was great. The night door staff as well were...

It was perfect for what we needed. Room was clean and comfortable. The reception staff were really helpful and welcoming, even suggesting somewhere near and nice for us to eat with two young children. They gave the children an activity pack and lollipop each on arrival, which was really kind. Breakfast was perfectly good enough to prepare us for the...

Close to the railway station and convenient for both the shops quayside and city centre attractions. Our room was what we expected from a budget hotel.Breakfast was a nice surprise with gluten free cereal out on the first morning (we had to ask for it on the second) if I could offer advice it would be to make this visible...

I have stayed at the Holiday Inn Express Newcastle City Centre on many an occasion and it never disappoints, indeed, to be more positive, it always hits the mark! From its convenient location, less than 5 minutes walk from most areas including Central station and the metro, to the always smiling and cheerful staff, to the clean rooms, to the...

My wife and I spent two nights midweek at the hotel for a short city break to celebrate our anniversary. The room was very clean and tidy though a tad dark, it was a good temperature and despite being on the side of the main road was surprisingly quiet. The room had a large shower, decent bed with memory foam...

It's alright for a short stay where your priorities are flexibility and closeness to center. Nothing fancy but nothing missing, so it's ok really. Rooms clean, everything functions, loads of restaurants around it, you'll be sorted for sure.

This is a nice hotel in a very central part of Newcastle. It is 5 minutes walk from the main Central Station and much the same from all the good shops, pubs and restaurants. It's a typical HiEx but I thought the rooms were a wee bit smaller than usual but OK for a single, might be tight with a...

Warm and friendly greeting at reception. Good quality room with comfy twin beds. Good sized, clean bathroom. Self service breakfast. Little disappointed that only hot food was sausage, scrambled egg and beans! Would stay again as rate was very reasonable.

First time at this hotel. Easy to find. Car parking is extra at the adjacent secure Council car park and there is a reasonable overnight charge. Very friendly reception staff providing information on the car park and the hotel. Also helpful in contacting taxis and city centre information. Very clean and bright rooms. Breakfast was excellent and unhurried with plenty...
