We booked 2 double rooms for 3 nights at a total cost of £120. Can't fault the room, modern and everything you need for a few nights away. This is our 2nd visit to the Euro Hostel. Bathroom is a bit on the small side but for the price you pay you are getting excellent value. Bar

We reserved a room for 4 but were upgraded to a room for 6 which had more room and 2 bathrooms. the location was perfect. It was right around the corner from the cutest little coffee shop that I could have spent my entire trip in. The bar at the Euro Hostel was fabulous.

The staff were incredibly friendly and there was someone to help at the desk 24 hours a day. The room itself was really nice with everything we could need for our stay. The beds were slightly uncomfortable and creaky but for the price I was majorly impressed.

From staying in previous hostels, the staff usually cant do enough for you.. that is not the case here. We booked a quad room for 4 of us and were told at checkin that the room was entirely ours. We went back and forth from the room pretty much all day with no problem, that was

Hello Oliver. Thanks for the review. Apologies for the confusion over your booking but just to be absolutely clear the reservation was for only two guests.but you were allocated a quad room. Therefore you were only charged for two persons i.e. a two person rate. Had you made us aware at the time of booking that there was to be four guests you would have been charged for four persons rather than two. Non-residents are not permitted in the hostel after 2300 so in order for your guests to stay they had to be registered and checked in. They also have to pay for the accommodation. This was confirmed by the travel agent with whom you booked, at the time the additional accommodation was paid for and the ladies concerned checked in. At no point were you charged extra or charged twice for this reservation.

The bar is open mid week and closes promptly at 11pm. The beer was rather expensive in my opinion, a little more than the surrounding pubs and bars.

Hi Iain M Thanks for the inquiry. There are a number of parking options in and around the hostel. The best option is to use the Carliol Square NCP which is located just around the corner (less than two mins walk). You can park your vehicle at a cost of only £6.20 per 24 hours, as long as you don't remove the vehicle from the car park (otherwise the charge resets when you next park). You can pay via a downloadable app. Full details are available in our reception where you can carry out the download. Alternatively there are other NCPs int he local area at Oxford Street, John Dobson Street and New Bridge Street but there are no discounted agreements in place. There are a limited number of parking bays in from of the building and these are free from 1830 until 0800 the following day. After this point the charge is £1.20 per hour (maximum two hour stay) for the duration of the day. Unfortunately they are designated for short term duration and you would have to return to the car EVERY TWO HOURS to refresh the payment. Hope this helps Regards Paul

Hi Kim Thanks for the message. The 14 Person Dorm (or Bunkalow) has very spacious en-suite facilities including two separate shower cubicles and three toilet areas. All rooms within Euro Hostel have inclusive en-suite facilities including shower, toilet and wash basin. Unfortunately there are no baths in the building. Regards Paul
