A grand house with contemporary style, a leafy setting near the heart of the city. Jesmond Dene House is neither a townhouse nor a country house hotel. It's simply 40 well-designed bedrooms and suites in a richly historic building offering understated luxury and rather good food. Overlooking the wooded valley of Jesmond Dene, the privately owned hotel guarantees peace, escapism and a refreshing change. Newcastle's city centre, however, is only a five-minute drive. The hotel recently received 4 red stars and the AA Hotel of the Year 2008-2009.

This hotel has a well respected restaurant so we thought it would be nice to try it out for a nice meal out for two. The menus were extensive including a five course tasting menu with complimentary wines but we felt that was a bit pricey so we went for the table d’hote fixed

Stayed here over 4 weeks in Jan 2019. Overall its a great place - individually styled rooms as you'd expect, in the wing and main building. Some can be a little on the 'compact' side but manageable. Plenty of on site parking. Helpful friendly staff. Nice gardens but too cold at

I came for Sunday lunch and it was a delight from start to finish. I ordered roast chicken which was cooked to perfection, and the Yorkshire pudding was very moreish. For dessert I ordered the tonka bean Creme brûlée which was divine and the shortbread was delicious! Very

Hi. Most of our prices include breakfast but we do also offer a room only rate. If you are able to let me know which package or price you are interested in I can let you know exactly what this includes. We do serve breakfast daily and offer both continental and full English either in the Restaurant or via Room Service. Regards Nicky Nicky Sherman Marketing Manager
