Once again an exceptional stay at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle. The hotel is beautifully decorated for Christmas. We stayed in the Executive Suite with Club Lounge Access. Simply luxurious. A huge shout out to Cath in the Club Lounge. Cath is highly professional and organised yet at the same time she always gives you a warm welcome and makes you feel at home. She is a huge asset to the hotel!

Platinum IHG member Very good location for the City centre. Parking excellent next to the hotel. Staying for 4 nights at the Crowne Plaza Newcastle, the last 2 nights we have been in the club lounge, the server Sally has been excellent, very professional and friendly, always ensuring that we had our drinks replenished when we had finished, food was very good, good selection of food. 2 hot choices and also salad an sandwiches And a selection of fruit and desert items One of the best Crowne Plaza club lounges we have been in. Looking forward to our next 2 nights here in Newcastle, we will definitely return

From the minute we checked into the hotel to the minute we checked out our experience was first class. The check in and out process was seamless and very personal and professional. Breakfast in the restaurant offered a great choices and was of the highest quality. During our visit we also visited the leisure club which was a great way to relax for a period after a long day. The leisure club was very clean and very professionally run. We also spent time in the executive lounge on the sixth floor and was greeted warmly by Kath who made every effort to look after us and make sure we had everything we needed. Kath was very sociable and really made our visit enjoyable. The location and exterior of the hotel made this very appealing, we look forward to our next opportunity to visit . We have stayed at this hotel many times and never disappointed. Christmas decorations are beautiful and really give the wow factor upon entering and get you in the festive spirit. Check in was prompt and staff very polite. Room was spotless clean and had everything we needed for a comfy stay. This time we sadly didn't have time to make use of the spa and facilities but I would certainly recommend. Pool etc are amazing and great for relaxing after a day at the shops. Breakfast is a must! So much to choose from and absolutely delicious. Breakfast was very busy but this did not hinder the service. We were quick to be seated and all food available. All the staff really go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your time there. Really cannot fault and confident in recommending.

We had a club room and it was amazing. The staff in the club room were amazing - especially Sally 😘 She really looked after us! The room was clean & the view was lovely. The gin bar was great & the snacks were delicious! Thoroughly recommend. Thank you for a great weekend x

Brilliant service from the staff!! I had been given the wrong room but this was sorted straight away by the reception staff. Even though i was there with a complaint they still kept a smile the whole time. P.S Thank you so much for the free room upgrade :)

When I checked out I wasn't able to get an invoice/ receipt as there was a discrepancy. I left my email even though they had my details as I'm a IHG member. After 3 emails and phoning I am still waiting for a invoice/ receipt, and now I have just found out I'm due a refund. Poor service and very poor communication.

We've stayed in the crowne plaza lots of times as well as others in Newcastle and the crowne plaza defo is the best. We stayed last night and from booking it via reception to checking out everything went perfect. Best thing was the service received by Kath in the lounge.. I remembered her from my last stay so friendly and nothing too much trouble. Table cleared and drinks topped up when needed. Was really impressed with the lounge food this time around defo better than in past. The curry was amazing. Rooms have everything you need for a comftable stay. Will be back very soon hopefully Kath is on lounge duty .
