This was our second stay at the hotel and we will be staying again. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean spacious room, comfy bed and fantastic building. The information book gives lots of information and also tells the history of the building.

Good location & reasonably efficient check in & check out. All in all a fair hotel, not remarkable bearing in mind how striking the tudor facade is! I think that this hotel is something of a 'tired old lady' that needs a little investment.

Perfect location to all the main sites such as the RSC theatre. Very accommodating staff and excellent food in their classic old English style restaurant. Very good sized room and apple parking on site. Couldn't have asked for more!

We've stayed at the Falcon before and booked again as we had liked it so much. Location is great- 5 mins walk to centre of town. Lovely big room and travel cot provided as we'd asked. Couple of small niggles re cleaning- drain smell in bathroom when we arrived, and a clump of hair found on floor, but other than...

We were able to park in the car park before check in so we could explore some of the town. We walked back to the hotel to check in just after 2pm and we were told our room wasn't ready so was offered another room to stay in. This room was in the newer wing and we took the stairs...

We love it here and have stayed before. The hotel is a few minutes walk into town. There's a roaring open fire to sit beside and great food. Comfortable rooms. What's not to like! We can't wait to come back.

Location was great and old part of hotel was full of character. New part looked very tired and 1960s architecture a poor contrast with the old. That said, staff were very friendly helpful, room was clean and night cap in front of open fire was bliss.

Great staff, dealt with any issues we had, including posting my wallet to my home that I had mislaid. Electric socket in room was damaged so lamp did not work. This was dealt with straight away. Boiler was being repaired that day & wife was unable to get the water for the shower off of scalding. Staff dealt with the...

Fantastic location and great staff. We had a bit of a noisy radiator on our room but it didn't matter. Staff were really helpful and let us leave our car in the hotel carpark for the day after we checked out.
