The not so good: room stuffy and did not open window(s) due to overlooking main road. Bit tatty round the edges - toilet roll holder falling off, shower tray leaking. Breakfast freshly cooked but very average and coffee not refilled. There is a small restaurant but no evening menu. Expensive for B&B at this standard. The good: Tim, (owner?), couldn't...

Situated about 2 miles from the centre at Stratford centre. 5 minutes by car and a bus stop right outside. The room was large and well furnished. Comfortable bed and quiet although on a main road. T&C making and good toiletries. Parking available on site. Very friendly staff. Dinner not served but lots of advice on local restaurants and all...

We were visiting Stratford for a family party and left it late to book a hotel so all the larger chain hotels were full. Found this place by accident. Not only was it a 10 minute walk from the party venue, but it was a lovely place to stay. Clean, bright and friendly. Great to have parking. Breakfast was very...

Small but exceptionally friendly well presented hotel. Cleanliness second to none. Relaxing environment close to town. Good breakfast. I loved the wood burner in reception which was very welcoming when returning from a chilly shopping trip.

Great Location near to Stratford. Plenty of parking. We really liked the welcoming reception area. Very friendly staff. The room was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Really good water pressure, the shower was brilliant. WiFi easy to log on and very good. Breakfast was excellent and they happily accommodated me with a gluten free version. We only had one criticism...

The reception we were given upon arrival was warm and friendly. We booked in and were shown to our room, which was immaculately clean and tidy. this en-suite shower room was spotless and the complementary toiletries adequate.Although we had a room at the front of the hotel ( on a main...

Really nice independent hotel. Very welcoming, large well proportioned room and good breakfast. About 20 mins easy walk into town - all in all a great place to stay when visiting the home of the bard.

Our room had a separate seating area, was very well equipped, and very quiet. The only drawbacks were the very hard pillows, and the weird green glow from the emergency light, which stayed on all night. Breakfast was delicious, and the service very good.

Stayed here on business and I was pleasantly surprised. Very warm welcome from the chap on reception, the room was clean, tidy and well appointed. Good selection of local beers behind the bar with some excellent local dining advice from the receptionist / barman. Breakfast was great, quick efficient service - overall a great stay, will definitely return next time...

Previous comments say it all. Lovely quiet location on the outskirts of Stratford, with a small choice of restaurants nearby all of which look really good quality. Staff were friendly and very attentive. Beds super comfy, clean rooms and the most delicious full English brekkie with locally sourced products. I will have no hesitation in booking again.
