The hostess was very pleasant, and the location excellent. There is also off street parking provided. The only problem was that, as our room was at the very top, the water pressure was low, meaning that one had to wait some time before using the shower. The breakfast was very nice, and the guest house very clean. Anyone worried about Covid can be ressured that all the necessary precautions are taken.
This was our first stay with Sue and Simon - and we shall most certainly return! The room was spotless and the anti-Covid precautions were very reassuring. Home-made cake, fresh fruit and fresh flowers to welcome us in our room were a lovely touch. Breakfast was delicious. It's short walk to the river and the RSC and we shall definitely book at Adelphi the next time we come to the theatre. Thank you, Sue and Simon, for providing a little taste of normal life again!
Me and my partner went for a night away and what can I say the room was Immaculate everything you could need. Location great not too far from the town. Homemade cakes were so tasty and a lovely touch. Breakfast was great fresh quality and plenty. A place I would return. Thank you for a great stay Nicola & John
Thank you Sue and Simon for a wonderful stay! I stayed here with my son back in March (sorry for delay in review). Even before we arrived, Sue went out of her way to make our stay perfect. We booked the four poster room - this was a good sized family room, beautifully furnished and felt like a home-from-home. The bathroom was stunning and of a high quality - I loved the attention to detail. The welcome tray in the bedroom was well-stocked - and Simon brought us fresh water each evening. There were a selection of delicious cakes and bakes in the hallway as well - a real luxury! Breakfast was delicious - beautifully cooked hot breakfast (including vegetarian options) and a good variety on the breakfast buffet. Thank you!
A wonderful gem of a Guest house with warm friendly hosts and beautiful comfortable rooms.Ideally situated just a few minutes from the rail station and all the main attractions in the town.Sue and Simon have a wealth of knowledge and suggestions on places to go and eat which is very useful when planning your trip. The breakfast was delicious..freshly cooked and locally sourced.Nice to see hot cross buns and crumpets on offer..as well as huge croissants! Cant fault the place..felt immediately at home as soon as I arrived and will definitely return.Highly recommended
Would highly recommend. . We stayed overnight at the Adelphi B & B. On our arrival we were warmly greeted by Sue and Simon, who made us tea and homemade cakes. We were offered a map of Stratford to help us during our stay in Stratford. Our hosts were very knowledgable of the area. They were friendly and pleasant to talk to. Our room was lovely, clean and well equipped. Lots of choices for breakfast, and you can express your preference of a time to eat. Fresh bottle of water was delivered to our room early evening. Clean towels and bedding. Property is within walking distance to the town centre, less than 10 minutes away. Would definitely recommend this guest house.
I stayed here as a solo traveller from Australia. I can highly recommend this B&B. It was clean, comfortable and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. There was a great choice for breakfast and could be tailored to suit. The location was great. Only a few minutes walk to the station and the main town. Highly recommend
This place is like a home away from home. Sue and Simon could not be more welcoming. Most visitors seem to be return patrons- which says a lot. Location is perfect. Decor is beautiful. Home bakes treats a wonderful welcome home each evening. Breakfast is delicious and served in the most delightful setting with a warm “good morning “. Perfect choice for a lovely stay in Stratford Upon Avon
We were given a very warm welcome by Sue and Simon who served us with tea and homemade cakes. Simon gave us great details of places to eat and visit. The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean and comfortable. The location was very good and we could not fault it.
We are totally astonished that there could possibly be any better B&B's in Stratford upon Avon Upon Avon than this one. The location is perfect for all the sights of Stratford upon Avon, there is excellent off-road parking. The house is attractive, the rooms are comfortable with an excellent spacious shower. Breakfast is a joy with a wide selection and their 'specials' are genuinely special. Add to this that Simon and Sue are are great as hosts, with a mine of useful information about Shakespeare, the RSC, Stratford upon Avon and the surrounding area.
