We stayed at Hampton Lodge Stratford Upon Avon for 2 nights. We stayed in a double en suite room. The room was extremely clean & well maintained. The premises are just a short level walk into town. Free car parking is provided at Hampton Lodge. We received a very warm welcome from the proprietor & he was extremely helpful. If we returned to Stratford Upon Avon again we would not hesitate in ringing the proprietor again & booking direct.

We'd arranged to arrive early and leave our car prior to check-in time, greeted by Michael's mom who was lovely and told her we'd be back later to check-in. Arrived for check-in and met Michael who was very pleasant and welcoming, gave us a choice of rooms either at front or back of the house. Then showed us the local highlights on the free tourists map he provided. The rooms were comfortable and pleasing, trimmings in bathroom a little tired but perfectly serviceable. Fresh milk and bottles of filtered water in the minifridge daily, room was also tended too daily. Check-in was a breeze, given the option to leave car parked on last day if we wanted to spend some more time in the town. 5/5 would definitely stay againm

Enjoyed our stay here for three nights this week, the room was clean, large and comfortable, the curtains were thick and lined and didn't let light in,our room was on the front, room 6 the road noise outside did not bother us,parking was on the drive at the front of the house, all the spaces are large and easy to park.Michael the owner let us check in early and leave the car on the drive while we went to town for lunch, will recommend and stay again if in the area.around 10 minutes walk to town.

Another example as why always prefer to stay at a small boutique hotel. The owner excelled in his attention to detail and did his upmost to attempt to all my needs. First class service by Mike and he even provided free parking which was a pleasant surprise. Will be booking again when I am in Stratford.

Took my family away for the weekend, and thought we would stay as close to the centre as we could. The location was perfect, and the rooms were very clean, well aired, and had bottled water in the fridges. Nice touch!. The host was very pleasant and cheerful, and was a great help in advising us on where to go for good meals and entertainment. Will definitely be staying there again, and highly recommend anyone to try it.

From the minute we asked to check in an hour early we were met with hostility not hospitality. When arriving 30 minutes early again hostility asking me to PROVE I had asked for an earlier check in. The excuse was he couldn’t get 5 rooms ready in 5 hours. Pity the host and I use that word lightly didn’t spend the time to remove the black mould from the minuscule en-suite

What a great guest house for when visiting Stratford-upon-Avon. After parking up outside which was an added bonus we were met by Michael who was really friendly and helpful and shown to our room which was nice and spacious and clean. The centre of Stratford-upon-Avon is just a 15 minute walk away so ideally situated and although on a main road and we were in the front bedroom it was extremely quiet. Breakfast isn't included but we knew that beforehand and we found a lovely little cafe called Fresh right in the centre which did a great full English including tea and toast for just £7.99. Would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for 2 nights earlier this week en route to the Cotswolds and what a find Hampton Lodge was. Super easy to find with great parking too. The room was very comfortable with us both having the best night’s sleep in years (we need that mattress!) Only met the host (Michael) once but he was more than helpful and keen to let us know we could stay in the car park longer than our check out time. The room had tea and coffee with a fridge too which is a rare find these days. We will definitely recommend and will return hopefully too. Keep up the good work Michael 👍
