Been several times for a reasonable Sunday lunch. Food is good for price only 2 things lacking. No dessert menu at all. And only ever one poor staff member behind bar trying to do everything. Always lovely staff but feel it's unfair to keep us waiting and we can see the person is really having to cope on their own.

Nipped in on a Sunday lunchtime. Hadn't been in the Zetland for sometime. Pleasantly surprised by the modern but comfortable refurbishment. Nice beers, friendly Clients and Chaps behind the bar. Didn't have a roast but the one's we seen served looked very nice. Nice little pub you where you can catch some sport on the tv, meet up with buddies,...

I have to admit I loved the Zetland before it was gutted and revamped into the contemporary space for drinking and eating that it has become. I think it also does accommodation. Keeping an open mind, I had a bar snack and a beer here. The beer was nice enough and the food is typical of so many "on trend"...

I've just been to the Zetland today. Our group had some sandwiches, some alcoholic drinks and some soft drinks. I'll admit to you that the food was good. The sandwiches were huge and well filled, but both of my colleagues tried to give half away as there was "sooo much bread" Sadly I wasn't able to enjoy my half of...

I love this pub. But recent renovations seen to have dulled the atmosphere somewhat. But, it takes time to get used to new surroundings. However, having a customer laid out on a bench snoring his head off in the bar at 6pm, and the young barman unable or unwilling to stop him, is the reason I left after a pint...

We dropped in to meet family. I made the most of a quick pint which turned into a lunch (not a boozy one unfortunately). We had a load of sandwiches and some sides. The sandwiches were huge. I also had a black pudding scotch egg which was great; certainly an item to keep on the menu. The space inside is...

This is a review of the bar only and not the hotel. It is also the most difficult review I have ever written. To make a review truly balanced I would have to think of some negatives about Zetland Arms Hotel and I simply cannot think of anything bad about it. My partner and I stumbled across this place by...

I am always on the look out for new places to stay and the Zetland Arms Hotel certainly has that promising outward appearance. The refurbishment is still underway and I was told that the bedrooms are still some way off completion - mid 2016. However, I will be going back to check on progress as the bar was beautifully presented...

Always been a good meeting point in town. The best points about this pub are the rear outside area which is spacious and really pleasant to relax in summer. The pub has a small bar to the front of the building which is nice to chat in away from the large bar room.
