I stayed in the female 6-bed room for two nights. At the time I booked, hotel prices in Birmingham started at about £140 per night, so I decided to book here for £14 per night instead. If you are coming via Birmingham New Street station, the local info office there in the station is great, and they give you a...

Stayed 1 night with 4 friends. We booked the whole pod with 8 beds in so we didn't have to share with strangers. Cost us £25 each. Very friendly and helpful staff but the whole place is run down and the bedding was vile. Light didn't work in pod. Rooms in need of a major overhaul, everywhere needs re decorating....

Not impressed. I don't have massively high standards I've travelled, camped, roughed it but felt this place ranked pretty low. As a single female the hostel being down a dark quiet side street felt dodgy. Then to get to my room I had to leave the main building and go next door which made it feel less safe. I had...

The staff is very friendly and helpful. However the hostel is not very clean and quite smelly. The ventilation is not very good and that the facility is old. There is a very cosy common area. The kitchen is a bit small

The pros - the bed was very comfortable and had a curtain that you could draw over it, meaning no one was peeping in as they passed, which was a nice touch. The showers were clean and powerful, better than most hostels I've been in. The cons - Staff were a bit stand-offish and seemed to be more interested in...

I do not have a good thing to say about any of the members of staff that I encountered on my stay with 3 friends on New Years Eve 2016. Upon check-in, the receptionist spoke very direct, was unwelcoming and spent most of his time telling us how he would fine us £200 and throw us out if we were...

If you looking for good value for money this place offers a nice vibes atmosphere :) I recommend this place for single and multi travellers. Friendly, clean, with positive attitude :D I liked the decorations, enjoyed the free drinks and breakfast. Definitely would come back again - just probably to the pink bedding from the pic :P

We arrived by taxi to the hostel, firstly the taxi man didn't know where it was. When we arrived at 6pm, we wer taken aback by the dodginess of the area.. we were far from impressed on first sight of the street. Appeared dirty with rubbish everywhere and creepy. We waited in the reception until We wer given our 2...

I wanted low-cost accommodation for one night for a group and to be based in Digbeth (which is also really handy for city centre). This fitted the bill perfectly. We expected it to be basic and it was. We also expected it to be noisy, which it wasn't - other guests very considerate and the area itself quite quiet. We...
