The rooms are big and clean. But no luxury: mattresses different quality, breakfast is simple, shower warm, but not a lot of water. we started in a room what was left with the heater fully on, it was like a sauna. Luckily we could move to an other room and we had a good night sleep.

Stayed for two nights in an 8 bed dorm on a weekend. Receptionist was happy to move me to a different room when the first one allocated didn't have lockers in the room. Kitchen / Dining Hall was clean and well stocked. Bedding was clean and comfortable. Central enough not to need taxis for town. Would recommend / stay again...

I stayed here Saturday night for the first time. I was a little disappointed that the bar crawl had been cancelled as there wasn't enough people but I soon got over that and enjoyed my stay very much. Will definitely do it again. Met some great people too.

Stayed here for 1 night. Was impressed with staff and the room. Was concerned at first with single pane windows and heat but once heat was on it was a warm cosy room. Bed was very comfortable. We had an issue with the hot water and shower. The staff did all they could to help us but it was an...

Terrible experience, we just stayed for one night for the Black Sabbath concert. The cardkeys wouldnt work..... we had to go back and forth about 5 times until the receptionist decided to come along and check what was happening. Late at night after the concert, the key was still not working , the receptionist was sleeping so we had to...

Overall not bad, no real issues. The staff were friendly enough. The decor is tired and needs painting and repairs, but its not bad either. The fridges in the kitchen need a good clean, and the walls of the downstairs common area need fresh paint. The bedrooms are nice with comfortable beds and pleasing decor.

My husband and I spent 2 nights in this place. Lovely staff at the reception and very helpful. However, lots of things that i wasnt impressed while staying here. Firstly, when we came in to our room, it was cold and dirty. Single glazed window, cobwebs and dust and no ventilation at all! Shower wasnt too bad but youre visible...

Great hostel just a couple of minutes walk from St Paul's square in the Jewellery quarter. We had a four bed dorm, room bright and clean with own toilet and washbasin. Well designed, lots of space and comfy beds. Towels and linen were provided. Atmosphere of place was great, true hostel vibe with communal kitchen, cereals, bread and fruit and...

APPALLING staff service I have ever encountered. Booked, asked if hostel dog friendly on 2+ occasions,ADVISED no problem. Arrived & told no dogs allowed, no real apology, and no assistance given despite lateness, despite me being heavily laden with luggage (and small dog) and despite me being totally unfamiliar with the area. From what I could see of accommodation its BARGAIN...

The best budget place to stay in Birmingham. Clean, great location and really comfy clean beds. Ensuite rooms are really convenient and breakfast is included. Dorm was warm but common area was a little chilly
