I have been here a few times now for various reasons. I have had Pre Christmas meals, family christening. The atmosphere is so nice. The staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is outstanding and I would highly recommend it. I will be going again.

We arranged to have my sons christening reception here. It was an amazing afternoon in a beautiful setting. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The buffet was superb and received many compliments. We would definitely hold a function here again.

Third time we have used this hotel whilst our daughter was at the university. Each time the staff have been very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast with lots of choice of fruit and cooked foods. Plenty of parking.

However I would want to...

At under £80 for a 'family' room (up to 4) including breakfast this is undoubtedly a budget B&B and good value if that's what you are seeking. The closest accommodation to Cadbury World. Be aware that the family room is up an extremely steep, winding flight of stairs, not for the faint hearted, and possibly not great for children either....

We were in B'ham for a nearby(Roeheath) reunion and were very pleasantly surprised by this small friendly hotel /guesthouse . . Our room #6 was small but very clean and quiet with view of garden (and actually a triple) at a very very good price. The sheets seemed to be quality cotton not the usual well washed B&B type. The...
