My wife and I have stayed in Premier Inns in various parts of England and Scotland and find that they are no longer the excellent value they once were. By the time we have added the new parking charges which now applies to many of their hotels, plus breakfast charges, the end result is that a nights stay in a...

The room was ok, although it was cold. The heating control on the wall appeared to control and electric wall heater. I set the temperature to 22 deg. By the morning it had been remotely reset to 18. Breakfast was edible.

We are hardy PI guests, staying in at least 6 a year. We believe you can't get better value for money but some are really outstanding...whereas this one was not. On arrival, (female) receptionist didn't even say hello just looked at us. Room ok bit small but comfortable for 1 night, shower tray a bit tired but otherwise an adequate...

Didn't meet expectations in a few areas, mainly room temperature. Staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was OK with a good selection to choose from. The main thing that let them down for me was the room temperature.

Very clean and cosy rooms. Wifi was terrible as it disconnected many time. There is an option for upgraded wifi for £5 but thats ripe off as good wifi service should be part of basic essential to be provided.

Breakfast was served by friendly staff and cooked to order. Good choice of menu. Staff were always smiling and friendly even though one customer appeared quite rude. Good parking facilities and good pub next door.

If possible, book on line in advance to save money because the hotel doesn't guarantee the same prices, which is a pity. The service is very good. The bathrooms could do with some work - especially the showers.

This hotel is situated next-door to a Toby Carvery on the outskirts of Birmingham City Centre. We stayed at this hotel as a family of three (two adults, one child), in a family room for two nights. We found the hotel to be clean and the staff attentive. The new hypnos beds are very comfortable. Breakfasts are excellent value, especially...
