I can go on at length of all the negatives I've encountered but will list the points as there are quite a few: 1. The wireless internet did not work anywhere in the building for which I received no compensation 2. The only computer available was the Windows 98 machine by the reception area with a rate of £6 per...

Stayed at this hotel on 12/13th November to visit the NEC (Top Gear Live show) The room was a little 'tired' and in need of some decoration but for the money we did not expect 5 star standard. The staff seemed ok. It was during the night the problems started with groups of people coming back from night clubs, shouting...

Stayed at the Apollo because it was cheap and car parking was free. Quiet during daylight hours but where do all these night people come from after dark? The room was a little tired and so was I after my only night at the Apollo. At 03.50 people were still coming and going. The staff were friendly and there was...

The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, value is fantastic and the breakfast was good. On a trip to the care show at the NEC needed an over night stay and we found it great, the road its on is very busy, a crossing would have been good but that is nothing to do with the...

Having stayed here for one Saturday night I was very impressed by the value. All staff were efficient and friendly, the twin room was cosy but not cramped although the decor was getting decidedly tired. Low points (although to my mind they are minor): ► Front door very stiff, making it difficult to open and more worryingly close securely. Fortunately...

I paid 32 pounds a night, including breakfast and felt the Apollo hotel was definitely worth it. I got a clean (if a little shabby around the edges) room with two twin beds, a small tv, modern ensuite bathroom and new bedding, as well as a kettle and free tea and biscuits. The price also included a very good full...

Stayed overnight with my 5 year old nephew and was pleasantly surprised. Room was fine, a little cold and slightly shabby but clean and comfortable. We stayed on a saturday night and it was a bit noisy. Free wifi in the hotel but our room was in a block accross the courtyard from the main hotel and we couldnt access...
