My son and I visited this restaurant for our lunch. We arrived at 2.30. The staff I felt worked hard but just missed a bit of something, maybe they had a busy shift. The food was good and hot. I enjoyed it.

My husband and I took our friend for a carvery here on Friday 11 November 16. We were early for our table but that was not a problem as we had booked, so our table was already set up for us. We were shown to our table and the waitress arrived quickly, she had a lovely bright personality and it... More

As a group of between 10 and 15 friends we like to visit local pub restaurants once a month. On Saturday a group of 10 visited the Toby restaurant at Robin Hood Pub in Birmingham. We had eaten there on many previous occasions and found the food to be good. However, our latest visit was more than dissapointing as we... More

Popped in for a lunch time bite. nothing out of the ordinary. Went to pay the bill and saw a charge for a flake, when I asked what it was for, they said I was told I must have ordered it. They removed it after I mentioned it, but how many others don't check and just pay?

Our experience at the Robin Hood Carvery had some good bits and some 'not so good' bits. The pub-restaurant has a good car-park, and the waitress was very helpful. We had the choice of table that we wanted, and the drinks that we ordered were quickly served. It started to go downhill when we went to be served to the... More

Arrived but was told that there was only beef available so we'd have to wait an hour. However, if we waited we would get the discount at week day rate rather than the Sunday £9.99 rate. We waited. Staff were really friendly and helpful but the carvery is probably the worst Toby I've been to. The meat had been freshly... More

welcomed by friendly staff, although when seated it looked as if there was just one member on duty. we sat in a corner table with splash marks on the wall and a real mess under the table(which we only noticed when leaving) went to the carvery server waited about 5 minutes before someone came out to serve the meat was... Regularly visit the Toby for either breakfast or carvery. It delivers what one should expect from a local pub. We have not ever had any complaints in the last decade of regular visits. It is good value for money and foods decent especially the Christmas menu. Staff are all pretty attentive and switched on. Any errors are always rectified straight... More
