My partner and I wanted to stay in a hotel which was close to the airport as we had to catch an early morning flight the following day .So regardless to say , we ended up picking this hotel. To begin with, the room was extremely small ; it felt as though two beds were cramped up in a room... More

From beginning to end this hotel didn't fail to disappoint in every way! In fact, that may be a little harsh, the room itself was the only thing that was OK and as expected. I was visiting with colleagues due to an exhibition which was being held so we decided to stay there but soon wished we hadn't. We went... More

The most positive aspect of our experience was that it was close to the NEC and the bed was comfortable. Disabled customers should be advised that if they wish to park in the disabled bays they have to drive to the front of hotel, get out of the car and ask at reception for them to open the barrier. This... More

I arrived at the front desk and was greeted with a lake view room upgrade which was very welcome. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the executive lounge is open all day but only serves alcohol for 2 or 3hrs finishing at 10pm. The finger food is very limited and not very appetising even though its free. The car park... More

Paper thin walls and gaps round the doors mean this hotel is not intended for a quiet nights sleep. Service is painfully slow when it's busy although the staff individually are great, there just aren't enough of them. Tolerable for a night but terrible for a long stay.

I had a works conference here and I arrived the evening before to avoid traffic. The evening meal was delicious and the complementary canopies were brilliant. Great facilities, rooms clean and comfortable.

Currently attending Commercial Fleet Awards dinner. All bread served was rock hard, cutlery wrong way round (you start outside with the starter cutlery, not the main course), starter of Parma ham was virtually stuck to the plate. I did ask for bread that wasn't rock hard and was presented with a gluten-free roll which isn't real bread at all. Maybe... More

Hotel rooms and corridors appeared tired! All could do with an update! Bar prices excessive! Breakfast good value if pre booked. Staff friendly and helpful. Easy walk to NEC if attending an event there.

We stayed overnight after visiting the Good food show. The location is great for easy access to the NEC with a path to the main entrance. Car parking overnight was £12 which was reasonable considering the proximity of the NEC. Very good service at reception and in the bar. Room adequate and comfortable. Bathroom could benefit from modernisation.

we have stayed here several times and are never disappointed. The rooms are neat with comfortable beds the food is good (as you would expect at a Hilton). The staff are excellent. We would particularly like to mention the lovely Geordie waitress who looked after us. I think her name was Nina. Definite asset to the hotel. Friendly efficient and... More
