The cleanliness of the hotel was disgusting, there were somebody else's hairs on the towels and there were wet patches on the carpet in the hotel room. There is no parking and no breakfast available other than if you pay extra for a lunch box type of breakfast. The receptionist was very apologetic though.

I mainly booked this hotel to enjoy weekend night with my friends and rooms are good, considering an old building, it's pretty well maintained from inside. If you are looking to book somewhere you can have some rest and enjoy the city weekend break, then it's a decent place to go for. Nice location as well, as plenty restaurants and...

Ideally located in city centre, a little bit noisy from outside from road and car noise. However the rooms were clean and tidy and staff very helpful, gave us extra condiments and hair dryer when required. No on site Breakfast facility except breakfast box but plenty of other places to have breaky.

Stayed in this hotel with my family, had great night sleep. Clean room with tea and coffee facility. Very friendly staff always ready to help. I will definitely stay in hotel again if I'm around. The only issue is not onsite parking but there is a lot pay and display parking on the back side of the hotel.

Perfect location for the Barclaycard Arena, via a five minute walk along the canal. However, two rooms on booking ended up being five floors apart. The 'quiet' eighth floor was far from quiet. O'Neills next door was noisy til the early hours, and the lift mechanism grinding every time it was used meant we had very little restful sleep. The...

Bed wasn't a king size as advertised, beding wouldn't do up, room was dirty, curtains didn't cover all of window, dripping tap all night long when all taps were full shut off, reception didn't want to as if stay was ok, must of been our age as asked the older couple in front of us, so terrible customer service.

I was here with my brother for one night so he could go to this event in Birmingham. This left me to wander around the city or chill in the hotel room by myself. I have no complaints about the hotel; friendly staff, nice hotel rooms, but it wasn't half noisy at night! Around 2 - 4 in the morning...

Stayed in for a week and the staff was really courteous. The room was serviced everyday and was quite clean. There was some external noise due to the location of the hotel but this was mentioned on their website when i booked. Tip for you - request your room on higher floor if available and it will be less noisy....
