Stayed at Birminghams Hotel Indigo in December as an alternative to the usual holiday inns or crown plazas that I generally use to amass IHG points. Very nice alternative with a much more modern decor, vibrant design and located well for restaurants in the mailbox shopping area. The hotels own restaurant is the stand out benefit here with a panoramic...

Beautiful rooms, amazing service and the bar and restaurant at the top are lovely. I've stayed 3 times now and it's worth the cost. Rooms have complementary water, tea, coffee and snacks! Also dressing gowns and slippers. There is a snug but lovely sauna and steam room with a pool. I love it here and will stay again

So, I'm torn with my opinion about this hotel. I'm guessing it's fairly new, and it ticks all the boxes for a modern day hotel....service is good, has a decent restaurant and nice bar, rooms are very modern and relaxing. So I'm not sure why I didn't warm to it. Maybe it's the over reliance on wooden floors (gives a...

Went to Birmingham over the weekend 27/11 /16 stayed here the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. The room and views were amazing and the spa very relaxing . My only 1 gripe was there wasn't any toiletries in the bathroom but as I was going down to reception to let them know I saw a cleaner and...

The staff are friendly and helpful - that's what gets this hotel 2 stars. But the rooms are tired and cheaply fitted out. I booked Hotel Indigo in the mistaken belief that it would be a stylish; comfortable, and high quality retreat. It does have a 4* rating after all. But the reality is that it looks and feels like...

Stayed for one night with a friend. We were seeing a concert at the Genting and then going for drinks out in Birmingham to celebrate her birthday. On arrival, we were checked in by a lovely girl on reception, offered complimentary chocolate bars and bottled water, and advised that there was also complimentary drinks and snacks in the room mini-fridge....

Free soft drinks, water and chocolate in the mini bar- a nice touch. The parking was expensive at £15 a night and a bit of a bind as you had to take your...

I was in Birmingham for business & since I was shooting in the Cube thought I would try the hotel in the same building. I got lost trying to find it, but once there was really impressed. It's surprisingly quiet for a city centre hotel, super comfy bed as well, I had a great night sleep! Breakfast is at the...

The hotel is in a perfect location; a five minute walk to the Christmas market, shopping complex, coach stop and train station. I loved the free mini bar, such a change not being ripped off. Complimentary bottled water and fruit was also available on reception. The cocktails were lovely - I was impressed with the huge juicy blackberry that decorated...
