This was my first time in Birmingham and we wanted to stay in the centre within walking distance of all the sites. This fitted the bill perfectly. We were checked in by Sarah, who was friendly, welcoming and efficient. Our room, on the 6th floor was very comfortable with a great view of the Selfridges building. It all feels fresh...

Stayed for one night. Friendly staff. Located very close to Bullring shopping centre. Parking close to hotel. Hotel is very modern and smart. Would stay here again. Not to far from airport for a pretty flight stay as we did. Nice bar area.

When you walk in to this place it is beautiful. Our room was large and plush. It was comfortable and clean. Just a few niggles stopped it from being as luxurious as it could have been. When we got there, despite having already paid in full, we had to make a £25 payment on our debit card. I was advised...

Stayed for 2 nights and had a lovely time. Hotel is smart and modern with friendly staff. Our room was well equipped with a nice bathroom. Didn't eat in the hotel as we were out and about. Hotel is close to shops and restaurants so location is good for a weekend break. We used the hotel car park which is...

We had a very enjoyable stay for 2 nights over the weekend at Hotel LaTour. The staff were friendly and efficient, the rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was truly excellent, with a good hot and cold buffet.

First problem: the entrance is very difficult to find. We walked towards the large sign at the front & down the right hand side of the building - no, it's down the opposite side past the restaurant. And then we had to ask chap smoking outside restaurant where on earth the hotel entrance was. Only room available was a £350...

This four star hotel is a rather nice facility -- modern, clean, interesting but somewhat strange red/black/white decor with emphasis on red. The facilities are not luxurious, but they are comfortable and plenty adequate. Negatives are price (wow!) and stinginess with amenities in the bathroom and with tea and coffee. I would have expected more/higher quality amenities in s four...

I booked as a gift for a couple. Early check in was allowed. The couple enjoyed their stay. They had heating issues however were upgraded due to the issue. Staff were polite on arrival and the food was lovely. Daily escort to car in car park which they appreciated. Good price for the quality of hotel; not many 4star hotels...

This is a surprisingly nice hotel. Surprising because I was expecting a rather soul-less place, lacking warmth and character, but the LaTour is a friendly welcoming place, attractive, chic, smart and with a distinct 'personality'. I've stayed in three rooms over a two week period working in Birmingham. The rooms are identical, so much so that tonight I was unable...

I stayed here with my wife on a Thursday night. Very happy with the room and breakfast, it's better than other Birmingham hotels in the same price range. The hotel has limited parking, but I was able to park at Selfridge's which is a couple of minutes walk away, and the hotel validated the parking ticket the charge was reduced...
