I booked as a gift for a couple. Early check in was allowed. The couple enjoyed their stay. They had heating issues however were upgraded due to the issue. Staff were polite on arrival and the food was lovely. Daily escort to car in car park which they appreciated. Good price for the quality of hotel; not many 4star hotels...

Stayed for one night. Friendly staff. Located very close to Bullring shopping centre. Parking close to hotel. Hotel is very modern and smart. Would stay here again. Not to far from airport for a pretty flight stay as we did. Nice bar area.

This is a surprisingly nice hotel. Surprising because I was expecting a rather soul-less place, lacking warmth and character, but the LaTour is a friendly welcoming place, attractive, chic, smart and with a distinct 'personality'. I've stayed in three rooms over a two week period working in Birmingham. The rooms are identical, so much so that tonight I was unable...

I stayed here with my wife on a Thursday night. Very happy with the room and breakfast, it's better than other Birmingham hotels in the same price range. The hotel has limited parking, but I was able to park at Selfridge's which is a couple of minutes walk away, and the hotel validated the parking ticket the charge was reduced...

We didn't have a bath although the shower was excellent. We were disappointed with some aspects of the room: Tea and coffee facilities; only one type of tea offered and only INSTANT coffee. For a 4 star hotel we would expect a big improvement on that at little cost and there should be a NESPRESSO or similar coffee machine available....many...

Me and two friends went for afternoon tea last Sunday at Hotel La Tour, and all had a really lovely time! The hotel is modern and posh yet still with a relaxed feel to it, and me and my friends stayed chatting for hours, enjoying our afternoon tea without feeling rushed out by members of staff. The afternoon tea itself...

Stayed here as part of the marco escape package, which was a good deal and included room, restaurant voucher, and free breakfast. Nice reception and easy check in. Room was modern with lots of electronic touch pad controls. Restaurant was good and busy but not over crowded. Breakfast was good help yourself with good quality produce. Just a couple of...

We stayed as a special treat for Valentines. We have stayed at this hotel a few times now & its been consistently good, hence the review. We think it's the best Hotel in Birmingham to stay in, compared to the hotels on Broad Street where we have stayed before, they do not compare at all to this Hotel. It's a...

You must avoid this property if you like to feel welcome by the staff members, we have stayed two days and we felt to be more an obstacle to the staff rather than guests, they lack interest towards guests and attention, we never felt looked after. -All my points are based on the F&B outlets- Worth mention we were celebrating...

I expect 3 things from a hotel, a nice bed, hot shower and good breakfast. This hotel delivered in 1 out of those 3 needs. 1. Bed is nice, rooms are new and shiny with touch screen this and that, couldn't get the safe to work (looked like it had been tampered with and is different to the normal hotel...
