Stayed here for two nights to watch the BBL cup final at Barclaycard arena. Having previously stayed in another broad street hotel and found the noise on a Saturday night horrendous i asked for a room on a higher floor. We were given one on the 16th. Didn't hear a thing. Staff so welcoming, room spotlessly clean, comfy bed and...

Visited to go to a gig at the barclaycard arena - 5 minute walk away, and a 20 minute walk from the city centre shopping. Plenty of restaurants and clubs around for convenience. Breakfast was fantastic, lots of options to suit everyone & hotel was very well priced. Hotel itself was very clean and tidy - recently refurbed and looked...

I was disappointed to arrive at 3pm to then be left for 10minutes on the corridor waiting for the room to be cleaned, and then to find puddles of water on the bathroom floor. There is also a safety hazard in this hotel, the fire door leading to the car park on level 2 is nailed shut, not just bolted...

This was our 2nd time here. The first time was almost perfect, the noise from the street was the only downside. This time we were on the 17th floor (top) and it was just perfect for our relaxing night away. My husband and I love this hotel it has everything we are looking for. It's so clean with not a...

Stayed with my partner and his sister. Location was very close to basic amenities, restaurants and bars. We went to a gig in Barclaycard Arena. Hotel was 7 minutes walk away. Breakfast was included in our price. It was one of the best we've seen in hotels. Lots of choice and food was always hot. Room was spacious, beds were...

Didn't quite know that expect as it didn't look great from the outside. The car park was difficult to find and we ended up in the wrong one and had to pay £1.60 to get straight back out!! The hotel was clean bright and looked like it had not long been refurbished. Bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and modern....

Room was slightly on the small side, but had great views over the city. Room and bathroom was spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, good shower pressure and nicely decorated. Good breakfast & coffee. Would recommend and revisit. Parking was £12 for 24 hours in a secure car park. Close to everything central in Birmingham.

The only thing stopping this hotel getting 5 stars is the uncomfortable hard creaky bed and a constant humming noise night despite turning off the heating and taking the card out of the electric thingy. I was also annoyed to have housekeeping knock on the door at 10am to ask when I would be checking out. Otherwise Lovely staff, great...

Nice hotel overall perfect for going to a show at the arena as it's very close on foot. Room was a decent size stayed on 15th floor noise from the road below was minimal although the lift was nearby and quite noisy but didn't cause any issues. Staff were all lovely and breakfast was good. Parking was on site and...

The Hampton on Broad Street is 20 minutes walking to New Street station and has parking at £12 per night. Room was comfortable and breakfast included - ok but nothing special. Good value location - I would recommend it to business and leisure travelers
