My boyfriend surprised me with a stay at your hotel to celebrate our anniversary and I'm so glad he did. From the moment we walked through the doors into the historic building we were treated so well. First of all we were given a free upgrade to the gorgeous L'Allier room and then enjoyed an exquisite dinner in the restaurant washed down with champagne. The quality of the food was extremely good and the service was most attentive. In the morning we were presented with the biggest breakfast I have ever had at a hotel, again with impeccable service. I cannot fault this hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it to friends and family. We will most definitely be back, hopefully when the Spa reopens if not before. A big thank you to everyone who made us feel so at home in your beautiful hotel.

Stayed last weekend as a retreat away after a long lockdown, the hotel is a little quieter than normal and had COVID prevention throughout so we felt safe this also allowed the staff to pay more attention towards me and partner. We bumped into the maintenance manager who was very polite and recommended eating in-house I think his name was josh, This was a great recommendation because we had a fantastic meal. We then had a couple of drinks in the bar area and was really looked after by the bar manager I don’t recall his name but He was very knowledgeable when it came to drinks. We hope to return again very soon. Keep up the great work and thank you to all the staff we interacted with

My partner and I stayed here recently and we were very much looking forward to getting away and doing something a bit different post lockdown. The hotel reception is beautiful and the staff were very friendly and welcoming however our room really disappointed me. The rubber seal on the shower screen didn’t work properly meaning every time we had a shower the water came pouring down the side of the bath onto the floor. The shower drain must have been partly blocked as the water couldn’t drain quick enough which meant we were left in our own shower water up to our ankles. The cap to stop water coming out of the iron was missing and the desk was stained. I found the room very dark and it didn’t let much sun light in at all. In terms of location the hotel was great but overall I left feeling underwhelmed.

I had a lovely stay here over the weekend with my mum. It was the first time my mum had stayed anywhere since lockdown so she was super nervous. We were greeted by Chloe at reception and she instantly made us feel relaxed and safe. She is a credit to your hotel and I have spread to word to friends and family about how wonderful this hotel is! Thank you again Chloe, you really made our weekend a memorable one!
