We had a night in a suite at the Hotel - and I'd highly recommend one, especially for a special occasion. The suite consisted of a very big bedroom, a lounge, toilet and large bathroom (with an excellent shower). It was modern and stylish, with views over Birmingham (especially as we were around 16 floors up!) The location is excellent...

I stayed for one night on Sat.4th December. In a nutshell this was the worst hotel I have stayed in for a very long time. Decor worn out, ripped fabric on seats, chips in milk jugs and teapots. I had to ask for a clean cup at breakfast I had to dry my plates before putting food on them.I left...

Recent stay at this hotel was great, you can tell it is a new hotel and is modern. Foyer was probably the least impressive bit but who cares as you will not be spending much time there, checkin was very swift. The room was a nice size with a very large bed and all mod cons. Breakfast was great and...

My foster child was celebrating his 14th birthday and all he wanted was to stay in a "posh" hotel. He was over the moon with everything - especially as the hotel had listened to my request for as high a room as they could give and they put us on the 18th floor next to the Presidential Suite, and left...

I stayed here with my husband as a birthday treat. Firstly the room is over priced. The view is great at night but they really need to have the Windows cleaned. The room we stayed in was tired and the bathroom had a strange smell. It just wasn't a great experience there are better hotels in Birmingham.

First impressions of this hotel are very good and the reception team excellent. The rooms, however, are very tired at best. We booked a Business Class room and we were on the 16th floor. The noise from outside and inside the hotel resulted in a very poor night sleep. The room and bathroom is in need of an upgrade. Breakfast...

Very clean, comfortable, good food (especially breakfast) and service, but overall the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and affable. The hotel is located very close to the newly refurbished New Street station and the shops and I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to others.

First impressions great able to book in at 10.30 am but unfortunately that did not last long. Twin room was found to be a double, one pillow each no spares stashed away. Receptionist very helpful and said it would be all sorted after we had visited Xmas markets. Five hours later feet aching still a double bed and no extra...
