Nice comfortable room for one. Good location close to the city centre with a pub nearby and shops. Staff were pleasant. Hotel was clean. Enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine in the bar which was relaxing. Would stay again if in Birmingham.

I was in a suite which was spacious and clean. Comfortable bed. Couple of issues though: difficult to get close to the bathroom mirror to do make up as there is a very deep shelf and wash basin, and no smaller shaving type magnified mirror which would have helped; also the

Dear Jac C Thank you for taking the time to post your review and recommendation of Conference Aston Hotel. I'm pleased that you found all the staff to be friendly and helpful and Edwin is thrilled with your mention - thank you. We have a fantastic team who work and recognition of their efforts by guests such as yourself is appreciated. It's great that you made use of the Leisure Centre, and although it's not in the hotel building, I'm sure you'll agree that it is worth the short walk to use the well equipped gym, sauna, steam bath or swimming pool. Thanks also for your comments regarding the tea and vegan meals. I've passed these onto our F&B Manager to investigate further. Hoping that you will choose to stay with us again when next in Birmingham and wishing you everything of the best, Graham

Great hotel and the price was very reasonable for our last minute booking. Our double room was very clean and spacious and our single room had a very generous single bed. Rooms are super modern and less than 5 mins walk to a shop less than 10 mins walk to bull ring and city

do I need a key card to get into the hotel or the lifts?
You can get into the hotel and lift but when you get onto the corridors with the rooms on, you can’t get past the door without a key card.

What is the latest check in please?
Hi Kate Our Reception is manned 24-Hours a day so late check-in is not a problem. We generally lock the front doors at 11pm. If you arrive and they are locked, press the buzzer by the doors and our Night Receptionist will let you in and check you into the hotel

Hi Could you let me know where parking is nearby to the Aston ?
Hi Redmel You can book parking online on Conference Aston's website. TripAdvisor don't allow web links in Answers so you can search it. Carpark 12 is on the campus and about 2 minutes walk from the venue. You can also download the 'How to get here guide' on the same site. Alternatively you can park in the Millennium Point Car Park which operates a Pay on Exit system and is about a 5-minute walk from Conference Aston. It's located off Jennings Road, B4 7AP Hope that helps. Graham

New street station is about 15-20 minute walk away and there are regular trains from there. Not sure about the prices. There buses that go to the airport as well. if you catcha private hire. it would be aroubd 15-20.
