My boyfriend and I stayed at The Old Crown last weekend when we were in Birmingham to go to a concert. The place is very conveniently located only about a 15 minute walk to the city centre. The inn is old and charming, but the charme comes with a price as the old building lets in a lot of noise...

Took my 91 year Dad for lunch. He enjoyed his fish and chips and my guineas stew was delicious plenty of meat but a few veg in it would have made it excellent. Local beer and cider both cold and refreshing. Two cappuccinos were fine. Lovely old pub and still reasonably accessible for my Dad and his walker.

Traveled from Lincoln to watch Fulham FC vs Birmingham City. Poor match, great pub. Had a few beers and a quick lunch. The sandwiches are great 'get you some of that'. This pub was really unexpected, had walked around for 45 minutes looking for cheap eats in an area that had perhaps seen better days. Very little on offer in the...

Lovely place friendly staff. Room was brilliant, really big and old. And breakfast the next morning was lovely. We heard a few weird noises being as i heard rumours the place was haunted. Our friends had a room with an en-suit and was really nice

Me and my little boy stayed here after driving back from the east coast of England, This hotel had so much character and will definitely be staying here again. The pub was very nice with plenty of places to sit and little corners and rooms if you want it private. Hope to see you soon guys.

Went to The Old Crown for breakfast this morning with my girlfriend and absolutely loved it. I thought the full English was great. Everything came out hot and in a good waiting time. The sausages were especially good. My girlfriend had the oak smoked salmon which again was great and was presented really well. If I had to nitpick, I...

I chose The Old Crown to book into for 2 days as i had booked the Peaky tour which started from there. The location is perfect, only a few mins walk from the Bull ring. It was my friends birthday and i decided to treat her to something special - could not have been better. The Old Crown is astonishing,...

Hi Daniel, I am delighted you spent your birthday with us and found our breakfast great, we have had some parties on over the festive period so I apologise for the music being on late, and unfortunately the road noise is out of our control however we are looking into secondary glazing to reduce the noise levels from the street....

We stayed here after a night out in Digbeth. For the price I can't knock it. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. There was pub/party noise into the early hours but what do you expect in Digbeth? Breakfast is even included in the price. Recommend

We ate here on a Friday evening just before going to a gig at the O2 institute, a couple of minutes walk away. It's a lovely traditional old pub, one of the oldest in Birmingham. We had fish n chips which was very nice, they also serve a great selection of real ales. There is a nice outdoor area with...
