The room was tired and dated and the extractor fan in the bathroom was so loud I felt I was disturbing everyone in the corridor when I went for a bath. But other than that cheap and cheerful. Decent breakfast, good nights sleep and clean and tidy. Also the Fayre and square restaurant is just over the car park, perfect...

My brother and I recently stayed at the Cocked Hat as we were attending appointments close by. As we were travelling to Coventry from overseas we had to take a very early morning flight but had 5 hours to spare before our first appointment so we contacted the hotel in advance to enquire if an early check in was possible...

Twin room for two nights was £80 in total which wherever you are is good value in my book!!! The rooms are not huge and are not most modern but were clean and tidy, bed was comfortable and bathroom was quite well appointed (toilet, sink, shower, bath, all well kept). TV in room was small but worked well enough and...

Still not enough staff on and those who are really earn their wages! All were polite and helpful despite being run off their feet. Heating issue experienced on our last stay had been resolved, thankfully! Food in the Fayre and Square better but still only average.

Unfortunately we were put in the room without double glazing and as the hotel is situated in the middle of a roundabout the noise from the traffic was a sleepless night. It was a shame because the breakfast was great and the lady was really helpful with our booking. The pub and restuarant are simple standard fayre at a reasonable...

There is so much to say that is good about The Cocked Hat Hotel - the restaurant I will review separately, except to say the menu was adaptable, varied and - oh the desserts!! So communication with the Cocked Hat before our stay and during and in between was excellent, friendly and so helpful. I initially booked for one night...

Amazing staff! Huge service-oriented and friendly. Nice breakfast. Top Location, felt rural (despite proximity to major road). Totally quiet rooms! Nice tub! And good hot water :) Good parking. The staff was very helpful (we got packed rich and tasty breakfast / lunch in a box for Crufts, because we left earlier than breakfast opened. They even helped when we...

I have been at the hotel for 17 nights and it has been a great stay. Lovely room, clean, fresh and quiet, cleaned daily. Good wifi, comfortable double bed and bathroom in good working condition, hot water in the shower at every hour. Excellent breakfats, both Continental and English, which is cooked to order. I really enjoyed the food and...

Just slept here for 2 nights but didn't have breakfast or other meals here as visiting family. Room was very roomy and a very comfortable bed. The staff were all friendly and helpful. It's situated near the main A46 which is very busy and mousey, but that's no deal breaker in the hotel. We will certainly book again

My sister and I are both disabled and need assistance with our luggage, opening doors and need to be close to the entrance. For our convenience he staff allowed us to use a side door near our twin room, our luggage carried through and fresh milk provided for our tea. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room clean...
