Went for a family meal in the restaurant. The service was very slow we had to ask for a bottle of water twice eventually after half an hour the water arrived. Two of us had the beef which was tough & very chewy we couldn't eat it. When we were asked how our meals were we said that we were...

The location and staff were both great. The food was average (consisted of the usual) but overall a very pleasant experience. Though may not return, purely due to food as in a big fan of trying somewhere new.

Family meal for a birthday in the main restaurant here, great quality food served by very helpful staff. Restaurant manager is brilliant, always extremely attentive & happy to help. Never stayed in the hotel though so unable to comment on the rooms.

This was perfectly positioned for a meeting with a couple of colleagues, and also very decent priced rooms too. Friendly and helpful staff, the room I stopped in was in the new building and was excellent - good size, clean and a comfy bed, absolutely no complaints at all. Had a sandwich for lunch and then stayed for dinner too...

We came here for my daughter's wedding and spent 3 nights in a comfortable and attractive bedroom now the main building. The staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was plentiful and well organised. The wedding day although busy, was well organised by Hotel staff, nothing was too much trouble. The food at the reception, was attractive...

Came here for a wedding and I found everything delightful. Cannot find a thing that was less than satisfactory and in October it was almost magical. The couple looked so happy and the food/drink service was fantastic. I found it slightly boring during the break, but it was the first hotel wedding I've ever been to.

We stayed in room 11 which is on the top floor above reception and it was perfect apart from the climb which some people may find hard work. We have been to the hotel on a regular basis because it is so relaxing, the food is excellent and the staff are absolutely brilliant. On a sad note the Hotel restaurant...

Review is based on Sunday lunch and not the accommodation at the hotel. The service was very good and none of us in the group of 10 could fault the food (apart from not being offered an extra bread roll when our starters arrived). Plenty of roast potatoes and vegetables were provided with the mains. Only complaint is that there...

Stayed at this hotel after a wedding. Arrived at 10.30pm to find there was no power in room. Was left standing in the corridor for 45 mins while hotel staff tried to resolve the issue, with no apology. Moved to a room that they had initially told us we could not use due to it being out of service. When...
