Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

In need of accommodation for a family of 4, for only one night, we had difficulty finding somewhere to stay. I stumbled upon this place online and called Ann (the owner) and she couldn't have been more helpful. We were offered the family room, or two separate rooms at a fractional extra cost.

Once we arrived, Ann was once again welcoming and showed us to our rooms which were delightful and spacious. The rooms are very much part of her family house, but accessed by its own entrance. Downstairs there is a lounge for guest use and a lovely outside seating area. Upstairs are the two rooms, in which Ann had placed vases of sweet-peas. Among the collection of family photos and book collection, there was an extensive variety of tea available in the rooms. But Ann very obligingly brought tea in the garden for us.

Being blessed with lovely weather we were able to sit outside enjoying the idyllic countryside views drinking our tea (and the wine we had brought from the local shop - Ann supplied the glasses)

After a good night's sleep, we had a lovely and extensive breakfast in the morning, where I was unable to persuade my husband to skive work so we could enjoy another day at this wonderful place.

Not a downside for us, but if we had not hired two rooms I an not sure I would like to share the bathroom with other guests. However we had such a lovely stay I am very happy for my husband and I to return and give it a go.

Cost us around £25 pp pn in peak season
