The staff at this establishment have earned praise for their attentive and professional service. We booked this hotel for 2 nights over Christmas and were glad we did. Making the reservation several months ahead secured it at a great price. The service from Amy on reception was excellent, with a request to change to an upper floor room carried out readily and pleasantly. Although it was facing the road during our stay traffic was light and it was no issue. If you are a light sleeper try for a room on the racecourse side which would no doubt be quieter from a traffic point of view. I think the room had been recently refurbished as there were no major marks and scars. The cleanliness couldn't be faulted and there was no detectable smell from previous use.
When in the area again this will be our first choice from now on.

Stayed for 4 days First impressions on arrival some of the widows frames had peeling paint on the outside and the carpets throughout the lodge looked faded or had been stained by some cleaning agent ? Come on Travelodge just give the frames a lick of paint. and sort out the carpet. Now don't be put off by this as the lodge was kept spotlessly clean and the rooms were well decorated and could not be faulted The staff were also very friendly and helpful There was plenty of free parking spaces available We enjoyed are stay and would return if visiting the area again

The best Travelodge I have stayed in. Reception was properly manned - receptionists were propmptly available (no waiting around for one to turn up). helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Maybe not a Travelodge issue, but it was a pity the pub closed earlier than advertised (Boxing Day).

We had never stayed in a Travelodge before.
We were in rooms on the road side. It was very noisy with traffic and could benefit from some decent double/triple glazing for these rooms.
The carpets need replacing. They had yellow edges in the rooms and the corridors and needed attention.
The general decoration, things like woodwork, shower seals, plugs etc could do with some attention.
We had paid a saver price upfront but felt that the room was not good value for the money at £95 per night and no breakfast.
The bed was nice and clean and comfy (if a little high to get in and out). Would have been nice to have a bathmat to step out of the shower onto.
The reception staff were very helpful.
It is in a good position to access many areas and the pub next door was really convenient for dinner.

I needed an overnight stay somewhere near Chichester as I was helping my son move from University accomodation to a shared house in preparation for the 2024-2025 academic year. The Arundel Travelodge, although significantly higher in price for a Saturday than other week days, was clean tidy, functional and just what I needed. Also a relatively quiet location. For someone who likes to get plenty of fresh air it was pleasant to be able to open the sash windows and get good airflow in the room.
Well done Travelodge.

Although this was not our usual hotel, we were pleasantly surprised at how friendly and accommodating the staff were. We were given extra towels on request and given a bigger room once it became available on our second day. It's was a great stay away from home while we had the painters in.

Beverly was absolutely fantastic.

Thank you

A real plus was that the windows open and there was a fan. So we didn't feel too hot in the night.

Thank you to Jo, who went above and beyond for us whilst we stayed here over the weekend, she really did look after us and nothing was too much trouble even though she was so busy she was always smiling and happy to help. Cleaning staff we met Were very friendly. Our room was very clean and warm when we arrived, we had a lovely quiet room opposite car park, pub across from the hotel Served nice food. Highly recommend.

Clean rooms, linen. Facilities have been reduced, no individual toiletries or a hairdryer are provided as on previous visits.
Pub located next door that could provide meals.
Quite expensive compared to other Travelodges we have stayed at but that probably relates to being close to Arundel town.

Lovely room though could do with a full set of complimentary sugars and sweetener. And the shower curtains always seem to be to short as always seem to wet the bathroom floor . Lol
Please why can't you do complimentary wifi and TVs you can connect to a mobile to be able to watch something you'd like to watch?

There is a pub restaurant next door and a fast food outlet at the roundabout with the petrol station that probably has a shop. There are also a few shops in the village just off the roundabout behind the petrol station and the other Travelodge.
