Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Another fantastic stay at Chichester central. Thankyou Kia for your help checking in and throughout our stay. Lovely room quiet warm and peaceful. Great weekend’s sleep. From the moment we arrived we felt like valued customers that nothing was too much trouble . The hotel has been recently re carpeted which was overdue but looks great now

Great comfortable stay, great parking and breakfast, central location to local amenities and cathedral. Bedroom was clean and standard comforts for a short weekend trip! Kia on front reception was absolutely fantastic in making sure our stay and recommending places to visit nearby! Would stay again!

The Travelodges is ideal for those shorter stays when other hotel facilities are not required. The admittedly small rooms serve their purpose perfectly with clean comfortable beds and excellent shower facilities with plenty of hot water.

We stayed here to attend a wedding, however the rooms were far from acceptable. We complained but could not be moved. In the morning we were offered a full refund in the form of a credit note, which we were grateful. The credit note arrived by email, we have tried to use this I'd admit nearly a year later, but the email has disappeared. We contacted Travelodge about this, but nearly a month later we have had no reply.

Jobsworth Julie. I was outside reception when my colleague went to check us in . No I can't check him in till he comes in . But he's just there ? No I don't know who he is . So I come in say the same name as my colleague told her . Here's your key . ???? She still does not know who I am I just said the same name as my colleague. Now 3 years ago before this hotel became a homeless hostel ,contractors were treated totally different. A warm welcome a smile . Not a sarcastic snear from front of house Julie.

Hot water too hot in the shower not adjustable. tired looking reception area which felt more like the reception of a hostel! The room did not have a hairdryer but the receptionist provided me with one.

Hotel was ok for one night. Room smelt a bit Smokey - curtains were horrid. They needed replacing. Other than that the room was clean. Staff helpful and polite. Ok for a budget hotel in a central location

Excellent staff on reception, good location although surrounding buildings let down the location. Good free underground car park. We will certainly book this hotel when visiting Chichester. Breakfast not a problem as weather spoons opposite.
