We have stayed at The Old Store several times and owners are always helpful and friendly. The guest house itself is always spotlessly clean, the rooms are warm, the beds comfortable, and the English breakfast is excellent utilizing local suppliers.

Probably the best guest house we have stayed in - for its ambiance, the quality of the food, attention to detail and all round welcome. We had booked for one night and ended up staying, quite happily, for two.

We stayed here for two nights for a family wedding. Made very welcome with tea and cake after a rather arduous journey. Rooms very comfy, good amenities, and extremely quiet. Lovely fresh breakfast each morning too.

A fabulous place with lots of character. Spotlessly clean and very well appointed, our stay, albeit sadly only for one night was extremely comfortable, our only regret being not getting up in time to enjoy breakfast ! Heather and Patrick are fabulous hosts, professional, attentive and friendly, we wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying here and can't wait to go back...

We were welcomed on arrival with a pot of tea and cakes and I was very pleased to find that one of the cakes was 'gluten free'. I had earlier informed The Old Store Guest House that I was Coeliac so this was appreciated. We had a very comfortable stay. It was marvellous to find a good light and a...

The guest house is very well located for walks as well as trips nearby. The breakfast was great and the staff really friendly. We stayed at the family room and a single room at the top floor. Both rooms were very comfortable.

we were staying here to go to a local restaurant. very good overall but be wary if you are walking anywhere at night - it is pitch black. also if you need breakfast before 0730, negotiate it at the time of booking

Heather and Patrick are very friendly and welcoming with advice about where to go and what to see in the area. The rooms are lovely and clean, comfortable bed, tea/coffee making facilities and biscuits, great shower in the ensuite. Good breakfast, freshly cooked. The Anglesey Arms is two minutes walk away and the food is good but they don't serve...

We stayed at The Old Store over a long weekend at the end of October / beginning of November and were really lucky with the weather. The Old Store is maybe 3 miles outside Chichester so a car is essential. The room we had was very clean and well appointed with ample storage space and being in an older building...
