After a mornings shopping sustenance was needed and Trents looked like a good bet. We soon found a table and placed our order. All the staff, despite appearing to be short staffed, were friendly enough. Our food (fish finger sandwich and a ch Chicken and bacon club) arrived shortly after. We made the mistake of ordering a portion of chips...

We booked to stay and night here. The ladies on duty were super unfriendly and unhelpful. For their Full English Breakfast they had no sausages or mushrooms and wanted to compensate with tomatoes and you had to pay for toast, a little bit of a cheek is you ask me. Rooms were average, clean and neat but very noisy, you...

I stayed here for two nights in November. I didnt realise it was a pub, but it was perfectly fine. The room was comfortable and warm. Breakfast was good and well served. It is in the centre of this beautiful small town. There is pay parking at the rear of the property.

Pre ordered meals, pre ordered wine, just had to turn up. The food was fantastic! Hot, well cooked & I've never seen so many roast potatoes! We weren't hurried, didn't have to wait for long for all meals to come out & really enjoyed it all. The live music was a bonus, great singer. Our group paid between £25 &...

A very pleasing atmosphere with very nicely presented food. Vegetables were a little too al dente for my husband and myself but everyone else seemed to enjoy them. The sticky toffee Sundae was superb. Altogether a very enjoyable experience

Very welcoming helpful staff, the bedroom was clean and comfortable with great beds, in a central location. Lovely choice of breakfast. Would recommend & would definitely stay again if visiting Chichester.

We met up with some friends here for lunch. Atmosphere is modern and service excellent. We ordered one of the shared fish plates for two. This was excellent and adequate for our lunch. It cost £12.45. It consists of scampi, whitebait, 2 fish sliders in mini burger with mayo and leaves, pickle and a portion of triple cooked chips with...

Hi Ashleigh My sincerest apologies for your experience on what I assume was Sunday lunch time. Unfortunately we had 3 members of staff ill on this shift and struggled to give our usual service. With regards to the flies, these are drain flies and they are a recent development that we are having the internal drainage treated for and in...

The food here is always of a reasonable standard for a pub. The roast beef always sells out quickly so I always end up with the chicken. It's fine for the money and the wine is good. Not fine dining but it doesn't pretend to be

On arrival, found easily enough with a public car park conveniently at the rear. Location was very good as very near lots of eating places and in the town centre for shopping. On entering quite nice casual decor in bar. No reception you check in bar. Girl at bar was very helpful. Only about 5 rooms upstairs but nice size...
