We met up with some friends here for lunch. Atmosphere is modern and service excellent. We ordered one of the shared fish plates for two. This was excellent and adequate for our lunch. It cost £12.45. It consists of scampi, whitebait, 2 fish sliders in mini burger with mayo and leaves, pickle and a portion of triple cooked chips with... More

My husband, myself and 3 yr old arrived for lunch. We were served only to find out they had run out of the kids mac and cheese We ordered Burgers and they were of a very poor standard and then when we reordered our same drinks they were forgotten about and then finally when I reminded the same waitress she... Hi Ashleigh My sincerest apologies for your experience on what I assume was Sunday lunch time. Unfortunately we had 3 members of staff ill on this shift and struggled to give our usual service. With regards to the flies, these are drain flies and they are a recent development that we are having the internal drainage treated for and in... More

The food here is always of a reasonable standard for a pub. The roast beef always sells out quickly so I always end up with the chicken. It's fine for the money and the wine is good. Not fine dining but it doesn't pretend to be

On arrival, found easily enough with a public car park conveniently at the rear. Location was very good as very near lots of eating places and in the town centre for shopping. On entering quite nice casual decor in bar. No reception you check in bar. Girl at bar was very helpful. Only about 5 rooms upstairs but nice size... More

Trents is a pub in the the middle of a busy street so don't be surprised if your room is not very quiet. In saying that it wasn't bad especially considering we were there on a warm Friday evening. The staff were friendly and attentive, the room clean, pleasant and well equipped and the breakfast fresh and tasty. The breakfast... More

Staff were friendly and helpful and our bedroom pleasant and comfortable. However it was very warm at night and noise from the street made sleep difficult. The cooked breakfast was good, but we would have liked the option of fresh fruit.

Had a lovely late lunch here with a couple of friends. But service could have been better and quicker, it wasn't overly busy, and we collectively agree that the food and drinks were a little on the expensive side.

I stayed at Trents on a Monday night for a business trip. Upon my arrival, I approached the bar/reception area to check in. The girl behind the bar ignored me for a few moments, before asking me what I'd like and when mentioning I wished to check in, she called to her colleague to check me in. Strange, as there... More

Situated very conveniently in Chichester just 5 mins from the train station. Very comfortable and friendly B&B, effectively a pub with a few rooms. Good value and great service for an overnight stay. Handy if you are heading to the races at Goodwood.
