I know Bradford well and have stayed at this jury's inn before , after 7 years of staying at another hotel in Bradford decided to give this one a try again . Easy to find and well sign posted in Bradford city centre . car park is next door to hotel , but remember to take ticket with you because you need it to get back into car park , also hotel staff will scan ticket for you to get 20 percent off . Nice entrance to hotel , very quick check-in , reception staff were very pleasent and help full with out being over the top . Room spacious and standard for this type of hotel , usual things in room , kettle coffee etc , TV , the climate control for the room was very good , easy to use shower . quick wife connection , room very clean and smelt fresh , when the heating kicked in lots of pings , creaks , groans from the heating what lasted for about 40 Min's , outside refuse collection about 10.30 pm for 10 Min's .. ( better than 6am ) . some Saturday and Sunday morning early corridor noise from other guests but that can't be helped . Did not have evening meal in hotel , but had late night drink and found it relaxing , look for special offers at the bar . One thing the hotel is missing what would be a great asset is a cold drink/snack vending machine . there is a garage and small shop near by but it would be nice to take cold drink back to your room . Breakfast staff were so nice and chatty with every one nothing was to much trouble. Breakfast is a good selection of hot and cold food , the hot food was cooked just right , and the coffee was the best . one more thing the bed was so so comfy ,had a perfect 4 nights sleep . Check out was quick .To summarise the reasons to stay here are : good value . central location , easy parking , friendly staff , good amenities , good nights sleep ..

Was here for a few days over Dec/Jan 2020 as part of a coach tour. 6/7 floor Building in centre of Bradford near to amenities. Bedroom all very clean and well presented, also quiet on 4th floor. Disappointed with storage in the bedroom: 1 open plan. wardrobe without doors and one shallow drawer with front on it, need to live partially out of case. No hard soap provided, only liquid bottles firmly attached to wall, no biscuits on tea tray. Renowned for their beds I believe, very comfortable puffy duvet. One item disappeared from case value £5, but hard to obtain, cannot say further than that. Food acceptable and reasonable choice, waiting staff well organised and pretty fast. Would return.

Booked a room for one night at Jury's Inn at short notice, after being let down by another hotel. Room rate was very reasonable indeed for a hotel of this standard. Hotel is conveniently placed near the city centre with secure parking available for £10 (overnight), after a 20% reduction for hotel guests, in NCP car park just to the rear. Staff on duty were very helpful and booked us in quickly and efficiently. Our room on the fifth floor was clean, well furnished, with comfortable bed. Can't comment on breakfast, as we left early the next morning. The hotel was quiet (presumably due to the city being under enhanced Covid restrictions), with very few people using the public areas. Although Covid-secure measures had been put in place (one person per lift etc), some of the guests we encountered did not appear to be following these, and we did see people checking in without wearing masks. This was disappointing, but obviously not the fault of the hotel. Would stay again, should I revisit Bradford.

Hotel has definitely gone down hill since I last stayed 3 years ago.

Started off badly when there was no hand soap in the bathroom and I was told someone would come to refill it. However the chap that came up said housekeeping was closed (around 7 pm on a Friday), the place they were kept was locked so I would have to wait until Saturday to get some hand soap...!! I phoned up reception and asked particularly during Covid times they really couldn't get some soap and eventually this was replenished...I just didn't expect such drama for something so essential as soap.

The bathroom was dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned properly with stains on the walls and a dirty shower curtain. There were mugs missing and it seemed that the housekeeping was rushed and very little attention was paid to getting it cleaned.

I also emailed in advance to ask for a room on the same floor as other family members which they said they would try and do but again didn't. Surely it wouldn't be that hard if the request was made weeks in advance.

Overall this was a very poor stay and in hindsight a stay at one of the budget chain hotels would have been better as at least a clean and tidy room would be guaranteed. The only saving grace was that the price for the 3 night stay was low but this appears to be at the expense of service and quality.

Awful……Booked a room through Expedia for a room with a double bed and a single as was staying with my son who I was due to pick up from Leeds Festival at midnight on the Sunday night instead of driving back to North Wales. The cost was showing £96 with breakfast or £76 without, so I thought a full breakfast would be great since my son as been camping for 3 days at the festival. I checked in about 9:30pm and asked about the parking for when I returned to the hotel later on, was told the NCP car park wasn’t 24 hrs and closed at midnight and reopened at 6am, so I had to chance leaving it parked outside the hotel and would move it hopefully before any traffic wardens appeared in the morning. The male receptionist then continued to book me in relaying my booking of a room with breakfast for 2 guests and then telling me the cost of £96 and how would I like to pay. Not at any point in this conversation did he explain the breakfast situation.
The following day which was the Bank Holiday Monday I went down early to reception as I needed to move my car to the NCP car Park as it was now open and just asked what time breakfast was, I was told 7 till 9am.

Me and my son eventually came down to reception at 8:15am and walked into the dining room which was empty and in the dark (no lights on) I didn’t seen any members of staff in there and couldn’t see any breakfast things out so went back to reception. It was at this point I was told that I should of been told about the breakfast situation ie no cooked breakfast only a continental in a bag with a bap as no chef … (on a bank holiday Monday??!!! ) when I checked in last night, I wasn’t. I then explained that if this had been clarified last night then I wouldn’t of paid £96 for a room with breakfast but the £76 without as a continental in a bag with a bap for 2 people didn’t suffice paying an extra £20, I could get a better breakfast for half the price at a McDonalds, to which the receptionist totally agreed with me and understood where I was coming from. I then asked to be refunded the difference however because I booked through Expedia they couldn’t refund until they had been authorised by Expedia, even though I had opted to pay on arrival and not online. They said they would sort out their end and refund me the money.

On Monday afternoon after travelling back home the hotel phoned me saying that I would have to speak to Expedia myself to get them to then contact the hotel to sort the refund which I did for then to be told that I would only be refunded $6.30 for the breakfasts as that is what the cost of the continental breakfast in a bag with a bap was, but online the price between with or without breakfast was £20.

I will not book this hotel ever again and will not be booking anything through Expedia.

Stayed here with a national mystery weekend break. Hotel was clean, staff were friendly. Food was very good, I am a very fussy eater and even I found the food good. We had an evening meal which I could not really fault, the soup was good and hot, the chicken for the main course was well cooked and tasty enough veg and potatoes. Dessert was fine, not much choice but portions were big enough. Breakfast was excellent, a bag containing, yogurt, orange juice with a croissant, toast was provided and this would have been sufficient but we were also served a cooked breakfast, two sausages ( not a lover of sausage but these were delicious), two rashes of bacon, a hash brown (big not the little ones I buy) Beans and scrambled egg. Best breakfast I have had in a hotel for a long time.
Staff were really friendly and told us places to have a look around after our evening meal. Hotel is not to far from the centre of Bradford, we had a little walk just down the road to were they have improved the area, I however found it a little off putting as it had a few people sat around drinking and playing loud music.
I would gladly stay again at the hotel and if I only got the breakfast bag and not a cooked breakfast that would be enough. Our room was on the side of the hotel, with a main road at the front, I heard no noise even with the window open ( but I am slightly deaf) but it was very quiet. The shower was great powerful and hot. Beds were very comfortable, room was big enough with enough room to move around in without being squashed. In fact I would recommend this hotel, have only stayed in two other hotels in Bradford and this one has been the best one I have stayed in.
Excellent well done to all the staff and manager. You had all you needed in the rooms even an Iron and ironing board.

Arrived 5 pm reception staff were very efficient keys for our rooms ready to collect in envelopes. Our room was on 4th floor very clean and spacious. We had a double and a single bed. Bath with overhead shower. There was tea and coffee in the room which was very welcome. We had a 3 course buffet style meal which was good soup salad Curry ribs veg chips rice and choice of dessert. Wine was pricey at £26 a bottle but as we didn't want to wander out its what we had to pay. All staff were very friendly our party was given a free drink as my mother was celebrating her 85th birthday. Breakfast was also buffet style plenty choice of the usual fair. Hotel was quiet during the night and beds were comfortable

I came as part of a coach trip. Checking in was very efficient. Room keys had been arranged into envelopes with guests names printed on them prior to check-in.

The room was very clean with ample tea and coffee (the kettle was very clean inside). I had a little struggle getting used to the key card and one of the domestic staff saw me and immediately came to my rescue.
The bathroom had a bath and shower with the bath big enough to lie in and fast running. Very comfortable bed, free unlimited WiFi and room service which was reasonably priced.

The evening meal and breakfast were buffet style which meant you got your meal very quickly, even though there was 3 coach parties staying, served in the main dining area

Very friendly, helpful staff.

I would have given 5 stars but my room was next to the lift and not only could I hear the lift going most of the night but other guests were quite noisy in the corridors and the room doors bang shut very loudly, so not the best sleep I've ever had.

Went as part of a group weekend with a coach company and stayed at jury’s inn Bradford. Very fussy and didn’t like the offered food and was willing to pay separately for this, however they kindly offered to switch this out for something off their regular menu. They went the extra mile. Room was very clean and comfortable.

If you were in a coach party you had breakfast provided in the restaurant. If you were in a couple. staff told you there was no chef.
After returning from a meal - outside restaurant as none available on site, we went to bar and ordered two glasses of wine. I went to pay with cash forgetting it was card only, abruptly told 'No cash card'. Manners cost nothing. Lights dimmed at 9.30, dimmed even more at 9.45 and then the vacuum came out at 10!
There was also something strange going on in the lobby, same people coming and going.

Good Morning michelle b, Thank you very much for taking the time to review your stay and letting us know of the issues you experienced during your stay. I am really sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the breakfast. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a restaurant breakfast service due to the impact of the pandemic on staffing, faced with supply chain issues which continues to present challenges for the hospitality industry. We understand this is disappointing for some of our guests but this is a temporary measure and we will be operating a full breakfast service by the middle of September. At the moment, due to the pandemic to ensure the safety or our staff and customers we are temporarily operating on a cashless basis. I hope you'll be able to visit again soon once normality has returned and experience what our property can offer unencumbered by international events. Kind Regards Melisa Customer Experience Team

It is, as you may see from my review, a while since I was In the Jury Inn, occupying a crap room. I am ashamed, but I am 73, toi admit that I cannot remember the lift system. I often stay in T/lodge or Premier Inns and one need the card often to access the lifts and then the room levels. Sorry! Stew & James-Down's son.
