I have stayed here most weeks for the last 5 months and this is by far the best city centre hotel I’ve stayed in. Rooms are spacious with a sofa bed in most and a very comfortable room when staying for the week, not to mention a really varied breakfast selection.

The bathroom is large so plenty of space for all my products and the shower is amazing.

Every single staff member is fantastic, welcoming and always deliver the best customer service. They have always accommodated any questions I have had.

We stayed at the hotel for three nights. From the moment that Shirley checked us in at reception, we were made to feel extremely welcome. She was so friendly and helpful. All hotel receptions should have a 'Shirley', a great asset for the hotel.

The room was very clean and comfortable. The shower was very good, constant hot water and it had one of the best non slip trays that I have experienced at a hotel. A fan was provided in the room.

Due to the hotel being full/Covid restrictions, breakfast was 'grab and go' and we were politely asked that only one person collected it.
Still a wide choice, various cereals, croissants/toast and jam, bacon/sausage/veggie sausage hot rolls, yoghurt, hot drinks, fruit juice and fresh fruit. My husband picked up the breakfast each morning and he commented how friendly and helpful the staff on duty were.

As we were there for three nights, we followed Shirley's advice and bought a weekly parking ticket as it was more cost effective than paying each time we went in and out of the car park. To purchase the ticket in advance, take your entry ticket to the office on the ground floor, near to the exit barriers and they will validate your ticket for the week. The cost was £10. After that, just insert the ticket on entry and exit.

Although the hotel is in the Leisure Exchange complex, we were not bothered by any noise.

If we return to this area, we would certainly use this hotel again.

Thank you to the hard working staff who made us so welcome.

Live in Bradford & travelling to London early Sunday morning so opted for a one night stay on the Saturday.
Super friendly greeting on reception, A great sized room, Clean & comfy bed, Bathroom a decent size & shower was powerful.
Returned early evening after a few drinks in Bradford & had a couple of drinks of wine in the bar, Good wine and reasonably priced.
Breakfast included in the price all items very tasty & hot, The cappuccino hit the spot.
All in all great value & will definitely use again when travelling to London as it was a perfect start to our trip away.

Stayed for two nights, centrally located in a leisure complex. Nandos right opposite, pizza hut too and cinema next door.
Once you get your head around the levels it's decent enough. It's a second floor reception, ground floor street level.
Staff were friendly and helpful, check in was easy enough, rooms and corridors clean and safe. Room a bit on the dark side but has all amenities you'd expect. Breakfast service is basic and buffet style, can't complain too much except for the rolls being uncovered and stale and the juice is definitely watered down.
Car parking is reasonable, £4 per 24hrs, park on level 4 of the Exchange car park and its a 2 min walk towards the cinema past the arcade on the left.
Hotel is fairly central and suitable for entertainment purposes

After another hotel let us down we booked an accessible room direct via the Holiday Inn reservation line, turned up 30 mins later and it wasn't available. No apology just "take a standard room or go somewhere else" it was 11pm and we were at the end of a 5 and half hour journy driving from Horsham.
We had to take the room so we could sleep but I (being paralysed wheelchair user) could not use the rooms bathroom, I had to use the accessible toilet in the lobby and wasn't able to shower anywhere.
The staff in the morning were apologetic and lovely, the breakfast was great but that didn't solve anything.
We called to give feedback and was met with a very dismissive tone when we stated we wanted to complain. We have emailed with our feedback but have not heard back.
My advice to you, just make sure if you have booked an accessible room that you phone the hotel direct on the day.
I can't believe it's 2021 and they do not take people with disabilities seriously.

I booked Holiday Inn Express because the price was good & it's location was central. After booking online a week later we had to change our dates so I called & a young man " Andy" answered. He was very polite & courteous & helped me to change my dates. We turned up at the hotel really early to leave our bags & Andy was there! He was just as lovely in person as he was on the phone. Throughout our stay he was very helpful, even put down his bag on his way home to get me some teabags & loads of sugar!! Such dedication to his job is outstanding & deserves notice. Thank You Andy for your Kindness & Yes We Took Your Recommendation & Walked Ikley Moors. The room was good, was bigger than I expected. It was serviced & cleaned every day. The staff sanitized the tables at breakfast & wore facemasks, we felt safe. It's a lot cheaper to stay here than in Leeds. We used this hotel as our base to explore West Yorkshire & it was Perfect. Highly Recommended.

Pluses: Front desk was friendly and accommodating. Buffet staff was masked and efficient in ensuring buffet was refreshed for the guests. Breakfast was very good.

Minuses: other than at breakfast, didnt observe any extra safety protocols amongst the staff or required of guests. Check in staff wore no masks. Morning buffet was crowded. Also rooms were not airconditioned (i recommend this be prominently shown on website description).

Strait to the point - on three occasions I saw a person walking in my floor knocking hotel room doors and when no one answers then trying to open by pushing using their shoulders. I reported them to reception who then said that there is no legal recruitment for us to have cameras in hotel and they tried to blame it on GDPR.

Breakfast is not just only basic but dishes are not clean and most of what they suppose to provide is not there i.e. scrambled eggs.

Staff are not trained properly and you could see this once you deal with them.

Do stay in a connecting room because you’d get all sort of stuff from people trying to open the connecting room at night to loud music over the weekend!

I just wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay there until they make sure guests at least are in a safe place and can leave their valuable stuff.

I can go on and on but safety is the main issue.

We booked for boxing day at quite short notice and took advantage of a partner discount available to me therefore this review is based on the price paid not the advertised price.

On arrival the reception staff were welcoming and efficient and getting us checked in, the rooms were okay and as to be expected for a chain hotel. Clean and tidy with comfy beds and all the amenities you would need. My main complaint regarding the rooms would be that we booked two rooms as a family, we were placed in rooms opposite each other however one room (the one I stayed in) was a joining room with complete strangers. Several times during the night and even at one particular time of 3.30am we could hear the other occupants bumping into the door and even trying the handles.

The whole hotel is quite noisy but then most budget accommodations are now, nothing a pair of earphones or earplugs can’t solve.

The room layout is a little strange and there are no plug sockets at all near the beds which might not be an issue for some but we found inconvenient.

The breakfast was okay, I certainly wouldn’t want to pay extra for it but included in the price we paid I can’t complain. Refreshing out of stock items was quite slow but the staff running the buffet were more than happy to help.

Quick and easy checkout and the parking is cheap at £4 for 24 hours.

I stayed here with my daughter in January. It was in a great location to walk to all the attractions. Car Parking was £4 per 24 hours and right next to the hotel in the multi-storey. The room was clean and the breakfast buffet was included. There is also a Pizza Hut, Frankie and Benny’s and a Cinema in the complex.

IS that a question? I don't think there was air con in rooms, there was a large fan. I stayed on a really hot day and it was fine for me.

The staff are very accommodating and will look after your luggage, but at the time you are giving they will have your room ready. I checked in at 12:30!
