Myself and my friend Maureen stayed here for 5 nights and had the most wonderful stay! Fantastic location on the Main Street in Haworth and there is an arrangement so parking is possible nearby which was perfect. We stayed in the Emily Room (I believe) on the first floor with a shared bathroom, but we had it to ourselves during our stay which was lovely. The decor is quirky, lots of teddies, but it was clean and clearly well cared for. There was a tea tray with lots of biscuits, good range of teas etc and David filled up fresh milk for us daily. This brings me to David and Mike who are just such lovely kind people, the heart of this place. Breakfast is in their small kitchen and we ended up chatting to them like old friends. You are in their home and truly welcomed. So yes the decor isn’t modern but this place has a charm and warmth all of its own if you embrace it. It’s a unique place. Both Mike and David did so much to accommodate us, we had a special mat under the radiators for drying our boots and they adapted the breakfast to suit us - it was delicious. Thanks for the cooking Mike (love those scrambled eggs!) and David’s fruit salads were brilliant. They also helped phone restaurants / pubs to get us booked in for dinner while we were walking in the middle of the moor. Plus, they have a lovely cat called Charlie. Mike and David are genuine lovely people who want you to have a good stay and that really comes across. Furthermore, it’s just superb value for money! We will definitely be going back - I just loved it. Very quirky with so much heart. Thanks Mike, David and Charlie. See you soon I hope!

Situated at the bottom of the Main Street, so in a great spot. One of the strangest places we’ve ever stayed, but it was a good stay, very quirky place with lovely owners, who can’t do enough for you, very chatty and good fun, had a great breakfast.

Fantastic stay for our anniversary, loved the card and treats we received. Perfect location for visiting Haworth. Great room, had everything you could need and a comfy bed. Plenty of choice for breakfast and was enough to last us until evening. Mike and David were very welcoming and had some great chats. Will definitely be back.x

It was a really perfect experience. The bedroom was very clean and that's for me the most important part. We slept perfectly! Then of course Mike and David are very friendly and give you all the suggestions that you ask! The most peculiar thing was the breakfast, amazing and really satisfactory! Also for veggie people. Really positive experience!

My husband, young son and I have already booked to return to Ye Sleeping House, just three weeks after leaving! We can't wait to re - experience the hosts' welcoming, charming and attentive service. The food was delicious, prepared to the guests' liking and the hosts even catered to specific dietary requests and preferences. The family room was sumptious, comfortable and nicely in keeping with the style of property we expect in beautiful, quant, historical Haworth. We also liked the variety of books, media and intriguing memorabilia around the place. The hosts were very forthcoming in maintaining the upkeep of our room and bathroom throughout, often asking if we needed towels, tea etc. The most significant element of our stay was the hosts' friendly, approachable demeanor, willingness to chat whenever it suited and their lovely characters and sense of humor; which shone through on every occasion that we spoke with them. We are practically certain to return again and again in the future. My thanks to both hosts.

They were kind enough to take us in when we were stranded in the snow. We stayed in 'Charlotte' a beauty room with the most comfortable mattress in the world. A fantastic breakfast - all of my very fussy dietary needs were catered for. The couple were so welcoming. Cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you guys so much; we really appreciated our stay and will remember our positive experience for a long time.

Although I live locally I stayed here with a friend as it was excellently priced - my cottage was too small to accommodate her. It was one of the best decisions I could have made. The welcome, hospitality and willingness to please rivals a 5 star hotel… as does the amazing breakfast on offer - - full English with every conceivable breakfast favourite available. For me, not a lover of full English, there was fresh fruit salad, cereal, yogurts and actimels. There are even wrapped snacks to take away for elevenses. The warmth from the heating and from the delightful personalities of our hosts Michael and David is second to none. The decor is far from minimalistic and I loved it. I would stay here again in a heart beat! Elaine Fossett
