Weetwood Hall Estate hotel garners appreciation for its relaxing ambiance and convenient location, which allows for easy parking and public transport access. While many guests commend the cleanliness and amenities, including varied dining options and a cozy atmosphere enhanced by live music, some express concerns about the value, citing a mismatch between price and quality. Service is generally well-regarded, though instances of inconsistency, especially in the restaurant, have been noted. The rooms receive mixed reviews, with some guests suggesting updates and improved noise control are needed.

We always stay here when visiting family in Leeds as it is an easy drive from the A1M, the location is quiet, there is parking freely available and the rooms are very well appointed with comfortable beds. The breakfast is good value with plenty of choice, and it was good to see that non-dairy milks were available without having to ask. Non dairy spread would also be appreciated.
The only negative was the inadequate bedside lights - they were quite dim and cast light over the bedside table rather than the bed, making it difficult to read.
We will definitely stay here the next time we are in Leeds.

Stayed here as we were visiting Emmerdale and decided to made a weekend of it. We stayed in the old part of the hotel in a ‘premium’ room. Room was lovely. Clean and comfortable with a four poster bed. Fridge in the room was very handy. First night was great but on the 2nd night we realised we had a room above us which was unfortunate as the floorboards were really noisy. Heard every movement, they visited the loo a lot during the night and they were very early risers!
The breakfast was great. They had everything you could think of. Self service style buffet with as much as you wanted to have of hot, fruit, cereal, breads, juice etc You could also request from the kitchen. The staff in the breakfast room work really hard.
There is a pub on site which we used both nights and also ended up eating in there both nights as it was freezing and pouring down. Small menu but decently priced which is brought over from main kitchen in the hotel. I had the same pizza both nights but toppings were completely different, a bit of a surprise surprise! As long as you don’t mind what you have these were actually really nice. The girls behind the bar work hard, very pleasant and fast service. Pub is also used by locals and we were lucky they had some live music which was fab. Happy hour was a real bargain although we were shocked to be charged £10 for a glass of wine as a night cap.
Huge car park with a Bus stop right outside hotel to take a bus into Leeds.

Average hotel, rather tired and in need of redecorating and updating. The room was very small with depressing decor (grey and brown). Lighting throughout the hotel is very dim and everywhere has a rather grubby feel. Corridors are long, with dirty carpets and chipped paintwork. Tea and coffee supplies are meagre and there is a sense that they are penny pinching. Rooms are cold and there are no extras or luxuries. Budget style toiletries, minimal bedding and towels etc.

Weetwood Hall proved to be a super venue for a memorial gathering of friends remembering a valued teaching colleague, who passed away recently in the north of Scotland.

The Jacobean Room was ideal for the group of about 30 people and the organisation throughout was first class, with clear signage at the main entrance telling guests where to go and a member of staff ready to greet us. The hotel staff ensured we had all we needed to display photographs of the deceased. The hot buffet lunch we were served was very tasty and the frequent replenishment of tea and coffee was very welcome.

I stayed at Weetwood Hall Estate on a Saturday night in July, reuniting with former colleagues in the vibrant heart of Leeds city centre. The hotel's location made it easy to park, jump on one of a number of frequent bus services which pass the hotel gates, enjoy the city and then return for a great night’s rest in the more peaceful surroundings of the hotel.

My room was spotless and well-appointed, with above-average facilities that exceeded my expectations (such as proper Yorkshire Tea!!). The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep.

The breakfast spread was impressive, offering a delightful array of English breakfast classics alongside European-inspired pastries and cooked meats. While I did get woken up early by the occasional aircraft passing overhead (due to the hotel's proximity to Leeds Bradford Airport), I understand this is an unavoidable aspect of staying in this area.

Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Weetwood Hall Estate. The hotel's location, amenities, and comfortable rooms make it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travellers. With ample free parking and friendly staff on hand, I wouldn't hesitate to book here again on future visits to Leeds.

I stayed for 2 nights as I needed a base for attending a family wedding in Leeds at another venue..I have used this hotel professionally for many years attending meeting, conferences and Christmas parties - plus using the Stables pub as I used to live nearby - so I felt it was a good bet particularly with its convenient situation for my needs in North Leeds. At booking I had requested a quiet room which was confirmed at check in - this was totally ignored. The first night I didn't get to sleep until after 2am - there was a sports team staying on my corridor who talked and socialised in the corridor until the early hours. there was also a group of very loud and boisterous group of wedding guests at the front of the hotel under my window who were waiting for transport home which didn't collect them until the early hours of the morning. Where was the night manager? The second night of sleep was disrupted by a large dog which barked intermittently until around 1am which then also ran barking down the corridor well before I needed to wake for breakfast the following morning.
Breakfast on the first morning was fairly average but on the second morning it was very poor - the lack of staff which in particular made ordering tea or coffee very difficult, lack of hot food being replenished on the buffet, no bread for the toaster and no fresh fruit items other than some fruit compote.
At check out the receptionist was not friendly or interested and robotic - she did not enquire about my stay or engage with me and just took payment for my bill without any explanation how much it was, let me check it or offer of a receipt.
The only positives were the friendly and efficient staff in the hotel bar and my room had its own very effective air conditioning unit.
Overall a very disappointing stay particularly when considering the room rate I paid and what potential this hotel has to provide a decent service..

Dear Paphos1, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We're very sorry that your stay did not meet your expectations on this occasion. Sadly, although we try our best to make sure guests are allocated a quiet area of the hotel when requested this is not always possible. Unfortunately we are unable to foresee or control other guests behaviour beyond addressing it as soon as we are made aware of the disturbance. This is even more difficult when it involves pets. As for your comments about breakfast we can only apologise and assure you we will look into this and follow up internally. It is standard that all guests should be asked how their stay was so we will speak to the team member in question and remind them to do so in future. We appreciate your feedback and hope you will give us another chance by choosing to stay in the future. Kind regards, Guest Services

Went to a conference Friday to Sunday lunch. Well the hotel staff were very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble from reception to the conference room to dining room, I cannot fault anything at all. I didn't like what was for our Saturday night dinner / dance so we ate at the Stables. On site only problem there was it was very uneven ti walk across with a rollator. 3 wheel buggy. To help support me for walking. When we got into the bar we met Kirsty she was very helpful. She moved furniture so I could get through, brought us menus. Then condiments to our table, she asked if all was good. I would like to say a big thank you for Kirsty's help. She even came to say goodnight at the end of her shift. Well done. The accommodation was absolutely 💯 👌 fabulous we had a big double bed and a single in the one room, tea & coffee provided to make in your room too. Nice bath in the bathroom with a shower above the bath, maybe suggest a grab bar to get in and out the bath for those who need a little assistance. But other than that excellent. Very comfortable beds ,clean well maintained. If I went to Leeds again I would stay there no problem. 1/2 hour ride from Keeds train station but worth that bit of travel. Well done

Stayed here for an Evening With Claire King which was hosted in one of the Conference rooms, so in that sense it was a perfect location. The main disapointment from the off was that our room wasn't ready on the first floor at 3pm. We had to wait until 3.35pm to then be told it still wasn't ready so they were moving us up to the second floor instead. We had twice requested on line a room if possible on the ground. This wasn't possible. I tried to explain that I didn't want the second floor due to my fear of heights. The man on reception didn't seem to accept this as a problem and maintained that we were close to a lift due to my Wife's disibility. We were basically left with no choice but to take the room or risk waiting any longer which we couldn't due to our time schedule of meeting friends. We were given a glass of coke each as an apoligy. The room itself I wouldn't class as 4* and is in need of some renorvation. The fridge was a nice touch. Lack of power in the shower and sink were noticeable. The room was noisey from the main road behind due to the fact it was too hot to close the window. The restaurant quality of food was great in the day but the same priced sandwich's that were served to our Friends after the show were dire for the same price. All in all the hotel provided what we needed for the show, but we wouldn't rush back. Ideal for Emmerdale Tour which is a meeting point on certain weekends. The disabled parking directly infront of the hotel needs re painting as no obvious sign you can park there. The loss of the one star is due to the room delay, the fact it was on the 2nd floor and the rather annoying receptionist who was loud and ott with guests checking them in. He appeared more interested in doing that than chasing our room up which my Wife had to approach him again about after the 30 minute wait. It was obvious that there were other rooms available due to the fact he eventually moved us to this one. We didn't appreciate his whispering on the phone to the cleaner stating that we were starting to moan either!

Dear harveysworlds, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your most recent stay. We appreciate your comments both complementary and constructive. Unfortunately we cannot always guarantee that rooms will be ready at 3pm especially on a busy day like this one. By moving you to a room on the second floor our head receptionist was simply trying to make sure that you did not have to wait any longer for your room; considering you were due to meet up with friends. We completely understand that waiting for your room can be extremely frustrating especially when other guests are able to check-in, but as certain requests were made about the location of your room it had been pre-allocated which meant we could not simply check you in to any available room. The reception team try their best to chase rooms as much as they can whilst still making sure arriving guests are looked after, however chasing the housekeeping team too often can sometimes cause more of a delay. As for your comments regarding the "annoying" receptionist, we're sorry that you feel this way, we usually receive amazing feedback about how he is such friendly and welcoming presence who tries his best to make sure each and every guest feels special. Rest assured we are currently in the process of refurbishing the majority of our rooms so please let us know we you choose to stay with us again and we'll ensure you're allocated one of our brand new rooms ! We take on board your comments regarding the disabled parking bays, we try our best to repaint the markings as soon as they start to wear. This has since been passed onto our maintenance team to follow up with. Thank you again for taking the time to leave us a review, we do hope to welcome you again.

Stayed for 1 night. Had to change room straight away as needed 2 separate beds and got 1, I emailed ahead of time to ask for this and got ignored. Waited 90 mins for our main course in the restaurant, served warm water so had to ask for ice. Rooms could have been cleaner, air vents need a desperate clean as full of fluff and debris. Then to top it off got charged over £7 for 2 regular diet cokes, to which they added over £7 for a service charge for no service!!!!!!!!!!

Dear Journey00666783250, Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on your most recent stay. We're very sorry if you felt the room was in anyway unclean, we'll make sure the housekeeping team investigates this. We always try our best to ensure guest requests are met but it is not always possible, if your request was overlooked we can only apologise. We believe this issue was rectified by the reception team as soon as they were made aware. As for the long wait in the restaurant we'll ensure the kitchen team are made aware to avoid this happening again in the future. We do ask all of our guests to sign a copy of their bill to ensure they are aware of all prices, including the 12.5% service charge which is also stated at the base of all of our bills. The reception team then ask again at check out if you are happy with the service charge included in your restaurant bill which allows another opportunity to raise any issues you may have. We understand that you may have found our prices to be slightly high however they are within the usual bracket for hotel bars and restaurants. Kind regards, Guest Services

We stayed here for our Son's Wedding, we arrived on the Friday and were given a lovely room which had loads of room for getting ready in but more importantly relaxing.
Our other children were arriving on the Saturday, we had two more rooms booked but with a 3pm check in and a 3.30pm wedding we asked if we could have an early check in, the lady on reception organised a 12 noon check in for both rooms at only an extra £10 which was such a relief and one of those was an upgrade too.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was lovely, we had a meal in the Convive on the Friday night which was also lovely.
We won't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you for a really good stay.

Cab or bus ride away from Christmas market. Bus stop at end of drive, turn right. Buses frequent, I think numbers 1 and 6 will get you into city centre. Check with Reception if you stay at Weetwood
