Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We stayed for one night after a long flight arrived around 9pm. The room was clean beds we’re comfortable but the room was very small for 4 of us. Extremely hot and stuffy. There is no bar in the hotel which is a shame as some people may want to start their holiday early! There are tea and coffee facilities in the room. A pleasant stay

Arrived 2April Check -in Ok Lady Staff very much appreciated. She Booked me in gave me the key.I asked for an alarm call for 0415am.She wrote it down. At 0425am I had a call of nature.!! No alarm call. Dressed and went to Check -in met Night Staff didn't tell him that I was not called.Instead I asked him to ring a Taxi as it was raining badly. He said they were too busy .He said that to others as well .So we had to walk to Terminal. Later I spoke to . two others & they said the were told same. But t hey rang Taxi on Mobile. He picked up less than 5mins. So my low rating is 5*for Lady Staff-& Minus Infinity for the Lazy obnoxious Male.Staff.Should be replaced.

It’s not obvious on the website that there is no bar or restaurant. When we asked at checkin the girl was very rude and directed us to the nearest beefeater. When we go to the beefeater the chairs were all ripped and it was in need of a lot of decoration. Fortunately we found the pub the white swan which had lovely food and has rooms to stay which we will do next time. I also had issues working the vending machine to get a bottle of water, this clearly needs to be changed as it’s useless. Never staying here again.

If you want to rest, sleep & eat, do not stay here. Zero facilities; ridiculously noisy; miserable staff. I had what is probably the worst night’s sleep of my life. It is not made obvious on the website that there isn’t a bar or restaurant here. It’s great fun trying to get water from a complicated vending machine late at night, if you can even work the thing. Everywhere locally was booked but after 40 minutes driving around with the children we managed to find a decent pub, the white swan, which had a table and served food. Thank the Gods! The Beefeater recommended by staff is a dump and in desperate need of renovation or demolishing: perhaps if some of the leather seat coverings had still been intact?! The banging, stomping, echoing, shouting, screaming, crying children at the hotel which went on throughout the night into the early hours was like a scene from Dante’s Purgatorio. Stay here at your peril.

Adequate place for a one night stay - only advantage was close to the airport - would get more guest if a shuttle service would be available for those in need - paying for wifi service is NOT attractive for guests and you need to include it in your reservations - if not your are SOL

This was an overnight stay before leaving LBA on the first flight out (06:00) to Malaga. The hotel served its purpose, I think it was a little expensive at £69.99 when I can see the TravelLodge at Gatwick Airport costs only £49.99. However, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the welcome by the receptionist very pleasent.

Basic clean motel type accommodation directly across from airport, 5 min walk. Twin room consisting of a double bed and a fold out bed. Don't seem to do proper twin rooms as such. Does the trick for being convenient to airport. Seems you have to pay at time of booking regardless but can cancel with refund once T&C's are complied with. Would stay again. £2 A1 flyer bus into city centre from airport.
