I love Premier Inn hotels and the Leeds East branch brought all the usual benefactors - clean room and amazingly comfortable bed. The location was perfect for us as we went to a festival at Newsam Park so we could walk there and back and not worry about taxis. However I may as well have booked a hotel room in the Sahara Desert as this hotel has absolutely zero aircon and the whole place and the rooms were red hot to a point where I felt I was asleep in said desert whilst wearing a north face jacket. I would stay here again but I beg this hotel please installs air con in every room because the little plug in fan was not adequate and I slept terribly.

Very convenient hotel and very accessible from the motorway for Leeds east.
The continental breakfast was very good value but we would have preferred to see more fresh fruit available on the menu.
The room price was much higher than we anticipated following your email adverts for rooms at £29.95 and above.

Having spent every working week at this hotel for the last 19 months and complained on numerous occasions about housekeeping standards, I must commend the team for the changes made before reopening after lockdown.
When I checked in, on July 6, my room had demonstrably been deep-cleaned. The carpet had lost longstanding stains; the bathroom was sparkling; the room smelt fresh and bedding was a lot cleaner. It was good to see the usual friendly faces particularly Claire, the manager and Liz on reception. I hope that this new level of excellent cleanliness will be maintained.
So far 5 stars.

We had a lovely overnight stay. Check in was at 4pm to allow for covid cleaning which was fine as we’d broken up our journey with a visit to York. We were asked what time we wanted to have breakfast, I presume so as not to overcrowd the breakfast room which was comforting.

The room itself was clean & airy & the tv was a good size but we couldn’t get the screen mirroring to work which it does on my Samsung tv at home. We had a lovely sleep which is the most important thing as the bed was really comfy.

The staff were very helpful & friendly & the breakfast was perfect. It was easy to get back onto the M1 from the hotel & we would stop again.

Stayed here whilst in a business trip. A standard Premier Inn, clean, friendly staff, comfortable bed. Enjoyed a good nights sleep as this Premier Inn has the newer lighter weight duvets (which are far nicer and stop you over heating at night).
The hotel has a very small restaurant for breakfast on site, for evening meals there is the Brown Cow next door which is owned by Ember Inns (does nice food.)

Hotel staff were friendly and tried their best to help, however the biggest problem we had was that the room had not been cleaned after the previous occupant (dirty towels in the bath, rubbish in the bin, unmade bed, dirty coffee cup). Now normally this would be poor service, however during a pandemic it is criminal. We had to buy some cleaning materials and clean the surfaces ourselves for our own peace of mind. Customer services are very slow to respond, and at the time of writing, we still don’t have a resolution.

Over all really disappointing. Broken bathroom fan and cold room with temperature control not working. Called reception about the fan and got told to climb onto the side of the bath to reach the fan, remove the cover and change the settings. Seemed it was an issue they long time new about but had not resolved. For the cold I also spoke to reception at the time and they didn't care. I got a unhelpful shrug saying not space blankets were available. Two terrible nights sleep. I contacted Premier Inn for their sleep guaranteed and have hear nothing back.

Very disappointing.

room only charge mid week is far too expensive for a budget hotel. Breakfast is extra to eat in something like a school dinning area, plastic chairs @ tables no room poor basic food. they charge you £10 extra if your even 10 mins early (bloody cheek) for a basic hotel, funny the room is actually ready & cleaned, but they still want £10 off you, never again. there is NO AIRCON the rooms are very hot & stuffy.

The hotel was chosen because of its location close to an event I was attending There were plenty of parking spaces. The room was clean and the facilities provided well for our needs. The bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep. Our cooked breakfast was excellent and the servive good.

Generally highly rate Premier Inns. Stay in them dozens of times.

This one was clean and spacious. However, from 3 am all I could hear was stomping across the floor from above, literally constantly backwards and forwards for hours on end. Then from about 6.30 this was made worse by noise from the kitchen across the corridor.

I went to reception at around 7 to complain about the noise. I asked if it was a room above or staff area and she confirmed it was a guest room and said maybe they were shift workers. Maybe shift workers who ballroom dance at night! She then brought up the website and directed me to where to complain and claim under the good nights sleep guarantee. She didn’t bother to investigate the noise which was ongoing.

I wasn’t planning to check out till 11 so hoped to get a bit of sleep but no chance with Anton Dubeke strutting his stuff above and the kitchen noise so checked out earlier, knackered.

So I followed the link the receptionist gave and filled in my complaint. The response said I hadn’t made the hotel aware of the issue early enough. I explained I didn’t want to get dressed at 3 am bu even when I’d made them aware at 7am they did nothing but provide the website link. The response says it’s in their terms and conditions that you make them aware as soon as possible except, guess what? Their terms don’t say that at all. They say to let the staff know or if you can’t to fill in the form I filled in.

Using non existent terms and conditions to avoid a refund and even when I’ve qualified the issues they still repeated the same rubbish.

Well no more Premier Inns for me.

I have no specific information on travel to and from the airport. Then using this hotel I always use a taxi.
