Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Comfortable, modern serviced apartments right in the centre of Leeds, steps away from the train station. Building beautifully restored, keeping fabulous original features such as the curving staircase while giving it all a contemporary vibe. We stayed twice while visiting family at the start and end of a tour of the dales - both apartments overlooked the square which made for great people watching but the whole building was very quiet. One apartment's layout was slightly better than the other but both very comfortable and clean and having a washing machine and kitchen made the trip much easier. The concierges could not have been lovelier or more helpful - uber currently gets very confused by the roadworks downtown but the frontdesk was happy to book taxis. Definitely plan on using these apartments as our base when visiting Leeds again,

Excellent visit - accommodation and staff are first class. Arranged after a disastrous stay last November with Quebecs - this time they pulled out all the stops to make sure this trip was a success. Thank you - especially Tania who went above and beyond to ensure all went smoothly. Apartments are very modern and in a great central location in Leeds

Very spacious apartments with plenty of amenities and an amazing view of the city square. Prime location that’s convenient for exploring the city as well as being just across the road from the train station. Kind, attentive and helpful reception staff.

Warm, friendly, super-helpful and super, super-professional service round the clock. Spent a week here as a working week from a different base. Ideally located for Leeds' best coffee shops, restaurants, bars and co-working spaces, Lovely large main room with perfect table to work on, comfortable sofas, well-equipped kitchen and pretty much everything you could want - and more. Loads of space and stylish modern bedrooms with excellent bathrooms and showers. Room cleaned every day - flexibly and extremely professionally. Even a good small gym on site with good aerobics equipment and free membership of nearby Nuffield gym too! Hard to beat this for style, location, quality, service and value! Will be back and can't recommend highly enough.

We have stayed in central Leeds hotels many times and never slept very well due to noise. Our stay at Quebec Apartments was perfect. It was surprisingly quiet for a city centre location. The accommodation was very comfortable and homely and the staff were welcoming and helpful. We will certainly be booking with Quebec again - thank you for making our trip a relaxing one.

We stayed here for one night as a family of 5 (2 adults, 3 children) and couldn’t have been happier. Quiet, clean apartment with very friendly and accommodating staff. Extra bed requested and was there already made up on arrival. We were even allowed a later check out to give us more time to sort ourselves out properly (always welcome with 3 kids…!). The only slight negative was perhaps the kitchen/dining/living area wasn’t particularly practical and could do with a rethink but it didn’t bother us that much for 1 night. Would happily stay again and hope to some time soon…!

We stay here quite often and really enjoy a home from home in the city centre. The location is fantastic with no more than a couple of minutes walk from anything you would like to visit in a city centre. The staff are always helpful and check in is always a smooth 2 minute process. Rooms are spacious, modern and always well equipped with everything you need and if you are staying more than one night maid service will restock and clean everything for you. The last couple of visits have been marred by the amount of noise through the night. I know this can’t be controlled by the staff or Quebec’s themselves but I feel it should be reflected in the costs and a notice provided. There are extensive building works in progress right at the side of the apartments, so close that when looking out of the bedroom window I could hear both persons on a builders phone call! From 5am they started receiving deliveries and from 6am they constantly smash the scaffolding posts around and shout across to each other. When I say constant, it’s every 10-15 seconds. I feel like the apartments have only gone up in price over the last 12 months but the chance of a relaxing lay in has completely gone out of the window. 5th stay in as many months and I will be going home ready for a break.

We were looking to stay in Leeds as a family of 3 (child age 3) and this option worked well for us having living space for after little one had gone to sleep. Parking all went smoothly, half price in sovereign square (hotel give you voucher to put in machine before you pay and leave, dont need to do anything before park). Apartment was great, including a well equipped kitchen which we used a little for snacks for our son and mainly breakfasts and lovely living area. We had asked for an extra cotbed in the bedroom and it was there when we arrived and bedroom was still spacious. Staff were all v friendly and room got cleaned daily. The only slight negative was nowhere to stop and drop bags by apartments before parking, website says there is but so many roadworks and building work going on in leeds centre including right by apartments so no chance! Also google maps does not pick up location of apartments correctly it thinks you are always on quebec st, this meant we went to wrong place on arrival but also if you want to order takeaway have same issue with delivery. Best to just use infirmary st address itself.

We booked to stay in these apartments on New Years Eve. Our 2 bedroom apartment was beautiful, set over 2 floors with great living room/kitchen space. Reception was there 24 hours and had no issues during stay. The issue I had is that you are asked to leave a security deposit of £150 per apartment (completely standard for many places), which we were told would be placed as hold on the debit card. When we checked out, we were told that hold would be removed and the money had been released back to the account. Allowing time for the transaction to be reversed as it was bank holiday on the day of check out, the £150 had not been returned after 5 days. After contacting the apartments we were told that the money is not automatically released and we would need to contact the associated with the debit and provide the "authorisation code" at the bottom of the receipt for the bank to refund the money. I explained that this was not what we were told and that clearer instruction needed to be given as none of the party had ever experienced such a process for deposit returns. They maintained that they no longer had the money so were unable to help further but unfortunately we are still 6 weeks later waiting for the money to be released by the bank. A disappointing and additional expense to our stay!

Unfortunately our stay here was marred from the onset , the first superior apt was lovely aesthetically, but an underlying smell of cooking meat , grease etc which as the evening got on for steadily worse and then the horrendous noise of massive industrial extractors. Turns out the apt is directly above the restaurant below meaning the lounge and down stair bedroom smelt like you were actually in the kitchen and our clothes really smelt bad , then as the evening wore on the fan noise got worse and the Hall way of the apartment started to vibrate with the fans with the noise radiating into the doors which then started to vibrate . Kindly at 1030 pm we were moved to a regular apartment as we could no longer stand it. Unfortunately this was as bad , the air con in the lounge was cold continuously and one bedroom had a malfunction in the air con which meant cold and really noisy fan type air flew out all night. Night 2 this bedroom was fine as the problem fixed . The lounge only got colder . The second bedroom which you would think was lovely and quiet wasnt. Around 11 pm the bottles from the bar restaurant below were skipped , it sounded literally like they were being thrown from 20’foot away with vigour . This went on over 2 hours and then in the smal hours the refuge trucks arrived smashing the skips down and tipping out the glass . Went on a further few hours . The noise radiating up the walls and straight into the bedroom... really bad tbh, air con needs serious attention , vents need attention , noise reduction needs looked at or if not the guests are made aware of the all night party of the bar staff and refuge trucks. We came home thoroughly exhausted unfortunately!! Refers to ap 12 and 18...... please note
