Detailed Reviews
Stayed for 5 nights, overall was clean and comfy beds. Good free ample parking which is secured with barrier and access code. Only downside was lift was not working and having to go up 4 sets of stairs everyday was a workout in itself esp with luggage / shopping. This has been mentioned previously in the reviews and yet still nothings been done about it? Not suitable for disabled or people with walking disabilities. Housekeeping was done daily, however towels were rationed not everyday you got a big towel. Only reason why we booked this was free parking otherwise the roomzzz west would have been ideal as they have coffee machine and breakfast to go served in the mornings whereas the headingley one was more like flats only. The check in was swift and easy, this is done in the city west and keys are given for the headingley one. Check out is 11am would be ideal if it was changed to atleast 12pm. Ca be noisy as room walls are thin. Other than this the rooms are clean and spacious. The balcony made it nicer.

I stayed one night in this apartment. There was a fully fitted kitchen which meant I did not have to eat out, and there was even a slimline dishwasher (and dishwasher tablet) meaing I did not have to wash the pans. The shower was powerful, there were plenty of clean soft towels. The complimentary hot drinks were very appreciated and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

We had a large room for 3 at City West, which was quite nice, although we would have chosen the 2 room apartment at Roomzzz Headingley down the road if the latter wasn't that bit further from town. We almost thought it's at the same location, so check your map first. This one suited us locationwise, the internet was really fast so if you needed to get on with work that's useful. It's also got some good eateries closeby. There's tea/coffee facility in the room and I could take my mug down and got a better cup of coffee at the machine at the reception. There's limited car parking, I'd check first or go early, but we didn't have a problem. OK just a couple of small problems. The shower cubicle was a bit small, so I hit my elbow a couple of times on the first day, but was careful the next day. Also, we had to close the window in the evening when we smelt the kitchen (faintly) of the restaurant below - it was Eat Out to Help Out August - but it's a good hearty restaurant where we enjoyed a meal there ourselves. Yes I'd stay there again.

I would suggest that you do not stop at this hotel, I consider it to be highly unsafe.
We stayed at this hotel for 7 nights and on two of those days the lift was not operational. There is only one lift within the hotel to serve, according to the staff, approximately 100 rooms over eleven floors. This lift also functions as a staff lift to service the hotel. I don't know what would happen if someone was taken ill on these upper floors or an infirm person was placed there.
We forgave one outage, despite being on the 10th floor. The second outage came at check-out time. My husband and I were standing outside the lift on the 10th floor with our heavy suitcases, book bags (as I study), extra pillows (as the pillows were not comfortable), and other bits and pieces that you would have from staying at an apart hotel. The lift opened an engineer reached out and put an out of service sign on the lift. We asked if we could just get our bags down as the lift was clearly working, he ignored us, we then asked that if he felt the lift unsafe, could he at least send our bags down and we would walk the steps from the 10th floor. Again he completely ignored us and continued.
Eventually there was no alternative but to go down the ten floors by steps and drag all our luggage. Doing several trips to retrieve the luggage was not an option to the 10th floor. Neeless to say the bruises and sore muscles continued for several days after this adventure!
When we finally got downstairs to the front desk, there were two people behind the desk apparently doing nothing. We were then told that the lift was being serviced due to a problem in another building nearby. We asked why we hadn't been notified about the outage and were told there were about a hundred rooms, so they couldn't do that. It was better to inform nobody, than them to start such a job. We did point out to them that they could have started with those on the highest floors and those that they knew were checking out that morning.
Regardless of this, there were several other areas that we were unhappy with. One bedside light was a bare, fluorescent curly bulb, the other side had a glass lampshade. We pointed this out and were told that they no longer made the glass lamp shades so they wouldn't be replacing the shade. Despite a well equipped kitchen, the light in the cooker hood was literals dripping with grease. We had several other issues, but space does not allow for more!

I'm extremely disappointed that you didn't enjoy your recent stay at our hotel. I have already contacted you and offered you an apology in terms of some of the items you mention which were beyond our control with the lift being maintained by an external lift company. Again I sorry for the other issues which again have now been resolved.

If you want to sleep do not stay here. Every door on every floor slams so loudly it makes you jump. This banging went on every night and through the night.
Cleanliness of the accommodation is pretty poor. Mark's and stains on most fixtures and fittings. Lots of water stains show the plumbing isnt up to much.
The breakfast is a joke, well passed the sell by date and gross juice.
The television was only fit for the bin. Picture and sound distorted.
For a city centre the wifi is very hit and miss and its not super fast if you can get it to work.
For the price charged you can get much better elsewhere.
I would not advise anyone to stay here

We love the theme of the Aparthotel, the location plus free secure parking at Headingley for visits to our son who lives within walking distance and have enjoyed stays here a few times over the last 4 years or so. However, we have noticed a drop in the standards in the rooms over the last couple of years and on our recent visit we stayed 4 days in room 6 on the front ground floor. The room had a number of small niggley things I.e. Missing fridge compartments, broken basin plug mechanism, 2 chips in bath enamel, no housekeeping on 1 day and loose handles etc. Also, in the living area and bedrooms there is no privacy from the main road and footpath unless you close the curtains. Installing nets or blinds would solve this.

Very happy with this place. (I don't give perfect 5 stars). Very clean, spacious apartment, fully equipped. We had two bedrooms for four adults, in Leeds for a family gathering, and there was ample space for the rest of the family to visit. The only fault was with the windows, only one of which opened (missing or broken keys) but management supposedly were aware of this. Be prepared to provide your own breakfast - the grab and go wasn't worth the trouble to us, but we knew that was the system so not complaining. Good parking, and good location out of city centre.

I was to stay here with my family for a period of ten days but extended our stay by another two months as we could not find an accommodation anywhere close to this level of comfort for long term lease. Julian, the GM did his very best to make our stay very comfortable and he was always reachable. This is a serviced apartment and the website clearly states what to expect. The suites have a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee maker, cutlery and crockery etc. What more could one ask for?

The location was good, bus stop in front if you needed, Amber cars pick up in front of place, Deliveroo brings to the door outside, free parking. Amazing large Morrisons close by. Nice to have a dishwasher and washing machine, along with full large fridge and stove/oven. The shower in the main was heaven. I would suggest if you plan on cooking bring a few mixing bowls as there was none, and maybe some oven mitts ( I had to fold up the one towel ). The biggest issue we had was the TVs, some might not care , but we did. The TV were ancient and did not even have a usable USB slot and the HDMI was inaccessible on the wall mounted TV. The trash cans are pretty small, for a big unit I would have thought they would have bee a bit bigger and a recycle box in the unit would have bee great. We will totally go back but will just know to pack a few things to make the stay more to our liking.

We stayed for 5 days in the maxima suite that has two bedrooms and a separate kitchen diner lounge that provides excellent inclusivity of a family group. Our suite was clean and quiet and provided a good base for our visit to family and dales nearby. It is an unmanned location that is not central or in Headingly centre and involves a 5 minute drive to Leeds West to check in, get a grab and go breakfast etc so may not suit some people.
