Yesterday we were at the Milford Hall Hotel for a funeral reception (or wake as some would call it.) It was only for a few people and an afternoon tea had been arranged. We were met by welcoming staff and the afternoon tea was delicious - finger sandwiches with lovely fillings, delicious scones with cream and jam, and iced fruit... More

I stayed one night at this hotel while on a business trip is Salisbury and found the stay to be most enjoyable. The rooms are comfortable and well maintained and all staff that I encountered were very friendly and courteous. There is a nice bar area and breakfast was a pleasant affair also. It was fairly dark when I got... More

We have just returned from a lovely weekend at Milford Hall Hotel. It's in a great location for exploring Salisbury, and it was good to have the free parking. The staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable, and rooms clean. Nice food, but a bit short on vegetables for our taste. Would definitely recommend .

As Festival Secretary I organised our Ladies Festival Weekend this year at the Milford Hall Hotel. Compared with some other hotels it was a pleasure to deal with their Events Organiser. Nothing was too much trouble. The staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were kept clean and tidy and the food first class. This view is backed up... More

A very convenient hotel for exploring the centre of Salisbury. Rooms clean and very well appointed. The thing that really impressed my husband and I were the staff, they were all, to a man or woman, so very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The receptionist on duty (sorry I can't remember your name) was lovely, greeted us like old... Stayed for a long weekend end of October, rooms comfortable, beds firm. Food great. What made this a good weekend was the staff always smiling and eager to help. Ideal location for a stroll into Salisbury town centre, and the cathederal.Magna carta exhibition a must (free entry).

Our guest is a bright spritely 88 year old who enjoys good company, fine wine and well cooked food. As it was her birthday she choose the restaurant, we had been to the restaurant many years ago and were disappointed and hadn't been back,so we're a bit apprehensive-but to our pleasant surprise it is a nicely decorated sunny dining room,comfortable... Had a birthday lunch with my wife and daughter. Carpark was a little tight ! Staff friendly. Missed one of the sauces for the 3 steaks we had but the food was nicely presented and tasted great. There was a problem with the till when we wanted to use our gourmet card, not that we could not use it, but... More
