We have often eaten here, either as a family as it is quite spacious and the garden is a delight. Great for just the two in the evening, food good value and really good. We like the people there so much that we have now booked my daughters wedding reception here, lots of space and friendly atmosphere with lovely food.

We popped in here for dinner. Lovely little pub with lots of nooks & crannies. The outside area looked nice too. Food was nice too. As a vegetarian I find a lot of places don't make much effort. I had a hand made Quorn burger. Very nice

It would be quite easy to walk straight past this pub, it looks fairly unassuming from the outside but when you walk in it has a very pleasant bar with a wide choice of tables in different areas. We've had lunch here a couple of times before, and since our last visit the pub appears to have been redecorated. They...

The New Inn is a delightful and pleasant old pub with good beer and a good pub lunch menu with excellent and cheerful service. All of which helped deliver a really enjoyable luncheon interlude. Highly recommended.

We stayed the night at the New Inn this weekend and I must say it is excellent. The room was lovely, clean and really cosy. The private bathroom is across the hall, which is fine, there are only 3 rooms so it's not a problem. We had lunch in the pub as well which was very good. The staff and...

The room was comfortable but with the draw back of the bathroom being over the small landing in front of the door. Its a very old building so you have to allow for this type of thing. The beer was very good and we had a lovely meal. The main everyday menu was limited but the specials were very good....

This is a very old inn, lots of character, ceilings are low but my husband only banged his head once. A little off putting because rooms are not on suite but you get a private bathroom and a robe supplied to wear to and from. It's a lovely place to stay, great staff, fantastic food and the bed was comfortable,...

Found this place on line, looking for something old & historical to stay in on an overnight in Salisbury- wasn't disappointed. Staff were friendly & the room had all of the old world charm without the creaks. Very comfortable bed and clean. Bathroom are private & across the corridor, with breakfast served downstairs in the morning. Plenty of crooked floorboards...

I was recommended to go to the New Inn for lunch by a friend. He is the organist at the near by cathedral. He was spot on. Great food and very good service from the young lad behind the bar. They Evan have a snug dedicated to rugby. Loved it.

We asked if they were still serving snack lunches and were impressed by the bar menu. It was good of the young man behind the bar to tell me that there was a 25-minute delay on food - despite there being no-one else in the bar - but it would perhaps have been better if he'd told us this before...
