Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We had self checkin on arrival, we had room 6.
The room was spotlessly clean, fresh clean linen and towels in fact the seemed brand new. The room was a little on the small side and we had nowhere to store cases after arriving back from Heathrow. The room has a tv on a table at the end of the bed which may have been better if wall mounted to provide extra floor space. Breakfast was provided by self service and self clear up in a shared kitchen which by the way was modern and clean. Problem is did we want to be sharing breakfast with up to 16 others for Covid and hygiene reasons.
The other problem is the booking system. If you are of a certain age or not tech savvy you may find the booking a little complicated and why as a UK citizen was it mandatory to include passport number?

All in all nice room, comfy bed, spotless bathroom, beautiful kitchen if you are happy to prepare food with complete strangers. Booking system not straightforward and as all rooms upstairs not suitable for less mobile persons.

Served it’s purpose for one night stay after arriving back from Heathrow but personally we would not have wanted to stay longer. This B&B would be great for younger persons but at our age we like to be waited on and or at least breakfast to be help yourself buffet

Spotlessly clean, the building was bright and airy. There was a room mix-up when my son and I arrived but it was sorted straight away by the friendly reception staff and a happy solution was found. Ample parking and they're quite laid-back about you parking in the back garden (which is has a nice lawn with picnic table.

Breakfast, part of the deal but... an unusual setup. You are given access to the kitchen and to well stocked fridges and it's helped yourself. My son toasted crumpets for himself and I had yogurts. Cereal is available and you are even welcome to cook bacon and eggs as well. Tea and coffee, of course in the room and downstairs in the kitchen.

If in the area, I'd certainly use it again.

I stayed at the Wilson lodge for the whole year of 2022 and it has been a home away from home for me. I miss it even now. I met a lot of people during the stay here and it was a nice way to socialize. The place is always clean ,they are always happy to help you if they can and have pointers on taxi or anything else u need during your stay here.

It has been very helpful that the fridge for guests always has basics covered for breakfast, the cutlery is extensive if you would like to cook and there is a washer/dryer too.

In case of issues they have been prompt to fix it.

The petrol station is 2 min away grocery at 9 min or 12 by walk ,high street by 12-15 min by walk and train station by 20 min by walk.

The area is scenic and safe.

I hope to stay here again and relive the wonderful memories.

Took my son to Lego land and wanted somewhere close to stay that didnt cost the earth. Found 15 Ray drive. Gorgeous big family room for me and my son. Brilliant location for scooting to the Thames. Communal kitchen was great as it meant i could cook for us rather than spending more on eating out!

The team at the hotel are very friendly and accommodating. We were made to feel at home.

We will stay again. Definitely recommend ataying there.

Wilson Lodge has been one of the most welcoming family business I have come across in all my 10 years of working away. Wendy and Jeremy couldn’t do enough. The breakfast was excellent and the rooms where clean and had everything. I would recommend to anyone.

We stayed here for 2 nights with our 2 children. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was very handy to have a fridge, kettle and microwave in the room too. The owner and manager were very welcoming. There is a large shared kitchen. The one little thing I will mention is the lack of a blind/curtain on the bathroom window. I did feel a bit illuminated showering with the light on in the evening 🤣 BUT I wouldn't hesitate to come back, we had a lovely time. The perfect place for families 😊

We were very friendly welcomed to the house. Great easy and free parking. Rooms are super clean and everything looked like it just opened. Nice and convenient communal kitchen to use with all equipment you would need. Great quality beds and bathroom. Fast internet with Netflix ready to watch on the TV! Simply perfect.

Friendly hosts as well! Great for trip to Legoland (which is busy now, hence me having time to write this review 😁)

We booked a few rooms for our families and friends. We had a great time as we are able to gather and enjoy the back garden. The space was just what we needed. The location was strategic for a stroll by the river or a short walk to town. Carla was helpful from the time we made reservations up till the day we left. The rooms were comfy and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you Wilson Lodge.
