Great location only 10 minutes walk from Windsor Castle. Room clean and comfortable although could do with a mirror in the bedroom so you can see yourself when drying your hair with hairdryer that is provided. Our room was serviced every day which we hadn't experienced at other hotels in Covid times. Breakfast was cooked fresh each day and we were well distanced from other guests in the dining room. We were on a Dinner Bed and Breakfast package and were able to have a different meal each night opting for a steak (supp of £10) on our last evening. The car park is tight and spaces small at a charge of £20 per night (booked in advance). Staff helpful.

We received a warm welcome to this lovely Hotel made even better by a complimentary drink in the bar (drinks of our choice I would add) - this got our stay off to a lovely start. The car park is small so beware if you have a large car as the road is very narrow turning into or out of the car park and cars are parked all along this narrow street. The parking is also £20 per day/night so not cheap. Our room was perfect - bottles of water, biscuits and tea/coffee making facilities. The bathroom was very modern with a beautiful stand alone bath and separate shower. White Company shower gel/body lotion were lovely. The bed was very comfortable too! Breakfast was great - good choice and very pleasant friendly staff serving. We enjoyed a drink in the Palm Court lounge in the evening where a jazz band were the entertainment. This Hotel is only a short stroll away from Windsor Castle or the Long Walk in the other direction so perfectly placed to enjoy the town. Our stay was really perfect and I would most definitely recommend a stay here.

This hotel is amazing.
We stayed in a premium room which had a large, extremly comfortable bed, with the best pillows. The room had air conditioning and a bathroom with a large shower and a bath.
Breakfast was the best breakfast we have had in any hotel, all freshly cooked, nice and hot with as much toast, tea and coffee you need.
We ate in the hotel one night. Whist the food was delicious, the portions were not big enough for us, we would have liked more.
The cocktail bar is very nice, we did enjoy one or two!!
The staff are just amazing. Every member of their staff was friendly, courteous, helpful and just lovely.
There is parking available at £20 per night, but you need to book in advance.
Yes, you can hear the planes due to bring under the flight path but it didnt bother us.
We would, without question, return to this hotel. Next time in one of the suites maybe.

Wish I could give more stars! This is without doubt the best hotel in Windsor. The hotel is amazing, all newly refurbished. My wife and I stayed and we treated ourselves to a Monday night at the races. The hotel staff are so attentive and switched on, every interaction with them was stress free, easy and seamless. The room and bathroom are so much bigger than your average hotel room and we felt like we were the fist people to use it because it was immaculate. Beautiful boutique feel and design to the room - not your usual grey generic chain hotel style. We had the best nights sleep we've had in ages (even though it was one of the hottest days of the year). Nothing was too much effort. I mentioned I love my coffee stronger than the average person and a fresh replacement cafetiere was brought straight out - perfect strength! We love that sort of detailed service. The food was off the charts! We had breakfast and lunch and each was beyond perfect. I rarely eat fish at a restaurant, but this was something else. Amazing value, and surprised it's not a lot more in price (particularly the restaurant). We're already planning our next stay. If you're thinking of travelling to this area then don't hesitate to use the Adelaide. I would suggest that if you plan to take your car, book a space early as they have limited spaces. Thank you Royal Adelaide for a fantastic couple of days!

We booked the Royal Adelaide for a two night trip to Windsor after reading it's great reviews. We were really impressed with the booking confirmation process, the invaluable information shared and particularly the excellent phone app guidebook which provided all the information you could want about hotel facilities, the provisions in the room, nearby attractions and recommendations on other places to eat out. The hotel prides itself on its dog friendliness and this was evident with Rudi's welcome and particularly the fuss he was given by housekeeping. We booked a suite and were delighted to benefit from a really luxurious and clean room (not always a given for dog friendly stays). During our stay we met three different reception staff and all of them were incredibly professional, helpful, warm and welcoming. They even agreed to chill a bottle for us without any hassle as well as being on hand to help other guests who'd needed scissors for an outfit repair before a castle investiture. Our meals were served in the bar area to accommodate Rudi and the nicely lit and convivial atmosphere still made meals feel special. We had dinner at the hotel one evening and the meal itself was probably the weakest element of our stay. The prices were sensible but the burgers in particular were dry and the meal more average than anticipated. This however was balanced by the most exceptional and attentive service we have experienced at any hotel. Ishmael who served us at the bar and waited our table noticed each time our glasses were low, topping them up and providing unobtrusive impeccable service. He was bright, engaging and extremely helpful including assisting us in the room with a TV remote control issue. He is an absolute credit to the hotel and his professionalism would not be out of place at Michelin restaurants. Breakfast service was good and the breakfast was good too. We would definitely return to the Royal Adelaide if returning to Windsor. Thank you for making a special trip feel so luxurious and comfortable

We had a wonderful weekend in June, the hotel is perfectly placed for walks on the long walk just across the road, the staff are friendly & welcoming, we was given a free drink on arrival, we stayed for two nights, the breakfast menu was very good, all food was freshly cooked, you can use a comfortable lounge to sit in with a pretty outside garden, perfect for a quiet drink before you go out, we didn’t eat an evening meal here so can’t comment however what we saw looked good.
I really can’t understand anyone’s negative reviews on here, we booked a cosy double, it was small & next time we would upgrade to a larger room, but all clean & comfortable, if you leave the windows open you will hear the planes ( Heathrow flyover!! ) close then & use the air conditioning? The parking is expensive anywhere in Windsor & the requirement to book is on the website/ booking confirmation as well as the check in time? Why should hotels receive low scores due to guest inability to read/plan?
All in all, a lovely hotel, not cheap but it is in a great spot in Windsor? We chatted with a couple who spend a week here every year. We shall visit again…… in a larger room.

When we checked in the front of house reception staff were helpful, friendly and informative, we went of to our room and although quite small it had a certain charm and was nicely decorated and comfortable the bathroom was very small and and a very awkward design to negotiate properly and was also in need of some TLC, the rise and fall on the shower was broke and lose so the force of the water kept turning the shower head away and couldn’t get any height so I ended up having to hold it in my hand. Anyway shower done my wife and I went in to the bar and was made drinks by a young lady who had absolutely no ideas what she was doing, we then went into Windsor for the evening and had a great time, came back to our room to a comfy bed and slept like a log. The following morning we went down for breakfast and oh my what a shambles that was, there were two young ladies (one who made our drinks the previous evening) who again were completely inexperienced and were walking around aimlessly with absolutely no direction, the lady who seemed to be in charge was flirting around firefighting. When we had been sitting there for some time I caught her attention and she came over, before I had a chance to say anything she said in a very abrupt voice “ There was a function on last night and I didn’t get to bed until gone 1am,we’re doing the best we can, your food will be with you soon” to which I replied “really, that’s good because nobody has actually taken our order yet” 😂😂. Finally one of the young ladies came over to take our order and after a long wait we finally had our breakfast, the food was really nice but not worth the long wait, during breakfast we asked for a second pot of tea, this never arrived, all in all breakfast was a hugely disappointing experience and I expected way better from a £212 per night (with parking) hotel.

Many thanks for your review following your recent stay with us. Firstly, I am delighted that you found the reception staff both friendly and helpful and this has been forwarded to the reception team. I am also pleased that you found the room comfortable and charming. The beds are vey good and also very comfortable and a good nights sleep is what you need after a night out. Thank you for letting us know about the shower, which has been rectified. With regards to the much needed training in our food and beverage department, this is in progress and the new members that you experienced that weekend have been trained to the standard that is expected. Please accept my apologies for the issues you had and should you visit Windsor again, please do think of us. Kindest regards

Friendly, professional staff. Book direct not through agents as they will be more helpful, particularly with parking.
Great room, great food,
Bathroom a little on the small side but perfectly adequate.
All areas well insulated and quiet, even though under Heathrow flightpath and on a fairly busy road

It was my first time staying at the newly renovated Hotel. It was a simply amazing experience, all the staff were so professional, approachable and really helpful. On arrival we were offered a complimentary drink, the wine is definitely something to consider!! The food was sublime, from the taste to the way it was layed out across the plate (Seriously recommend the steak). The room I stayed in was super cosy, really felt as if I was at home, not to mention how nice the bathroom was too!! All in all I’d 100% stay again and seriously recommend anyone visiting Windsor to consider and try out this hotel. You will not be disappointed!!
Thank you again to all the wonderful staff!

First things first, the staff we met were lovely, we saw two different receptionists, a bar man and a couple of breakfast staff, all with very good customer service. Hotel is nicely decorated and in a really good location, 20 minute walk into town/Windsor Castle. Breakfast was good (full english) The not so goods were the size of the room, the frosting on the windows which means there is no view and felt a bit claustrophobic, (if we wanted privacy we could have pulled the curtains, no need for the frosting) The bathroom needed attention, shower not working properly. Biggest gripe was the cost of the car parking £20 per night added a lot onto the cost of the stay.. I'll take the blame for not doing my research before we went because I now know there are plenty of cheaper (even free) options around the location. I can't think that I've ever paid car parking on-site at any Hotel I've stayed at, so bear this in mind before you book

Many thanks for your review following your recent stay with us. I am delighted that you found the staff and customer service very good. Your comments regarding the room has been noted and we do appreciate any negative feedback. We do have 4 different standards of double rooms to choose from depending on the size you are looking for, from cosy double to junior suite. With regards to our car parking, our guests are usually very happy to find a hotel with car parking on site. You are correct that some of the pay and display car parks may be a better price, but they are also 10-15 minute walk away. I am not aware of any free parking in Windsor, but if you do know somewhere, then please do let me know as would be very helpful to advise guests when we are fully booked in our car park. Kindest regards

We stayed in a room n July 2022 which overlooked the car park and it wasn't very nice at all. Nothing like the pictures on their website. It was dusty with an air conditioning unit that came on continously throught the night ven thought swyched off ruining our sleep - it has put me off staying there again.9
