Lovely to have child friendly places open again especially in time for school holidays. Queues are still long but not as bad as pre lockdown. Bring your own face masks (re Covid)

We stayed in the Legoland Hotel which was lovely for our 2 boys (age 10 and 6). Some great touches added in a premier room such as a puzzle to get access to the in room safe for a bonus Lego surprise. Extra decoration and Lego ornaments around the room were lovely. Great Lego decoration all through the hotel

Downsides: not enough milk & cups supplied in room and only disposable cups. So once you’ve used a tea bag you can’t use the rest as you have no cups or milk left. Noisy neighbours above us meant our kids were kept awake beyond 11.30pm. Even with concrete floors they could be heard thumping the floor so I’m wondering if they were an exception and perhaps jumping off furniture!

Food in the Bricks Restaurant is extortionately expensive. £25 per adult and £15 per child for a buffet style meal which you are only allowed one visit to fill your plate. This price doesn’t include drinks which once added on, meant an evening meal for 4 of us cost £100. Nice food available, healthy options dotted around but not sure it’s worthy of such a high price tag.

As we stayed in the hotel we had an extra 30 mins in the morning to get to a ride queue. This is very handy to have before the gates open for the general public as your closer to the start of the queue when rides open.

Bring your own rain ponchos (£5 a piece on site - £7 for 8 diff family sizes on eBay!).

All in all a good but very expensive overnight stay and couple of days out.

Myself and my daughter (8) visited on 3/4 August, we stayed 1 night in the Lego Land Hotel which was lovely, my daughter loved the pirate themed room having bunk beds and her own tv, it was a nice room and we both had a good nights sleep and enjoyed our breakfast we got the following morning as part of the package. We did have dinner in the Bricks Hotel which was an extortionate price at nearly £50, the food was fine but if I had known how much it was we would of gone to the nearest McDonalds!

Had a fun time in the theme park itself, lots of hand sanitisor about, the staff made an effort to make sure the rides were cleaned and that people wore masks where necessary. My only real complaint was there were far to many visitors in the park and so many didn't observe social distancing and at times it felt very uncomfortable.

We had a pretty good two days stay, check in and reception were chaotic, slow, unengaged staff and this area needs TLC, the carpet was faded and I was really worried our stay would be horrid. However, it picked up, the room was perfect, brilliant theming (we had castle themed) with children tucked away in an alcove with the bathroom in between both areas with TVs, so they could sleep whilst we could have our light on and watch tv. They had left a treasure hunt which was cute, but the toys were broken - couldn't face reception so messaged their facebook team who did nothing - really disappointing as the children were obviously sad about this and wanted to wear the badges. Great nights sleep and the swimming pool the next day was fab, perfect number allowed in, the 40 min slot was fine, lovely slides and clean - book in advance thought as slots go fast. We missed our breakfast slot and the staff were so lovely, let us take food back to the room with no fuss which was really welcomed. Easy check out as its contactless so you drop the key off. Such a shame the common areas are so grubby looking and the check in queue was so long, otherwise we'd be happy. Hotel parking is free and the entrance via the hotel is quiet so no queuing at the main gate which makes a massive difference. Expensive but probably better value for us as young children get tired in the park and this way we could take our time over 2 days and be on site ready to go first thing.

Prior to booking we were a little nervous with the current global pandemic so we called and did all the checks. we were told the hotel was at 50 percent capacity and the park was running at 30 percent capacity, rooms were being cleaned then left for a period of time before the next person although they could not confirm the period of time. Breakfast was running differently and the restaurant was being cleaned more than before, had sanitizer was available at a number of points and masks were worn inside.

We had two rooms. One had half a biscuit and some other sweets sticking out from under the bed so clearly had not been Hoovered, the other room and a dirty hanky (yes hanky) on the lego parrot in the corner and no hot water (after a long day we had to wait an extra hour before we could bath the children - and there was no TV to distract them or help to keep them awake whilst we waited) . The tv was awfully pixelated and unwatchable, it also kept flicking back to non child friendly channels.

Then there was Breakfast, which I can only describe as horrific and stressful. To name a few points:

* we booked our table the night before for 7 people... when we got there we were told we could not have one table as they cannot move the tables and we would need to go across 2 (our children were 2,4,5 and 14).... they then moved the table for someone else right in front of us 5 minutes later??
* Our booking was at 8.30am and there was no hand sanitizer in the dispenser (I cant believe it had all been used by 8.30am)
* There are two emergency access doors... yet none were open and there was no ventilation in the room at all. It was a warm day - the doors could have been open - which enables ventilation.
* The tables were barely wiped down and the chairs and under the tables were not at all. I wish I had taken my own detol cleaning wipes..
* The food servers had their masks under their noses. when I raised this with a member of staff that shrugged at me.
* You were told to grab as much as you can as you can only go once. There was so much wastage, and the wait times were awful..

Personally I would save the money and stay at a nearby hotel – spend the money on fastpasses instead.

We visited legoland for two days at the end of the October half term for their ‘Brick or Treat’ Halloween event.

We booked back in July and closer to the time of our stay was able to pre-book our breakfast at the Bricks Resturant and session at the Pirate Splash swimming pool. Both of which were easy to do (via a link sent in the booking confirmation) but I had read that you have to keep an eye out to book this as soon as your date becomes available to avoid disappointment/get the best time to suit your families plans.

We arrived at 10am to make full use of the park, however you cannot check in until 4pm. They do however let you do a pre-check in, which essentially speeds up the process of you actually checking in at 4pm to avoid crowding at reception. I believe the hotel used to hold your bags, but this option is not available since covid. This wasn’t problem, we just left our bags in our car, taking any valuables with us.

We had a great day in the park, although the ride queues were very long, we certainly expected it due to it being half term and having social distancing measures to consider. If you haven’t been at halloween, I would definitely recommend it if your kids love Halloween as much as mine. They really go all out to dress the park up, pumpkins everywhere, and the enchanted walk with lights which was great at night. They still had shows/character meet and greets in place with social distancing.

At 3pm we went back to the hotel to visit the pool at our allocated time. The pool was great for my kids age range (3 and 5), with water shooters and a slide. You have 45mins but it was enough. The pool and changing rooms were very clean and we felt safe with the reduced capacity being allowed in at one session.

After our swim we could check in at 4pm, so we went back to the reception and was handed our key swiftly.

We stayed in the pirate room and my kids loved it! The theme in the room is fantastic, it was clean and had all that we needed. There was a TV in both the adults and children’s room, tea and coffee making facilities, ironing board, fridge etc. When you arrive the staff place a ‘treasure hunt’ for the children to complete. This allows them to open the safe to be greeted by a land yard, pop badge and small bag of Lego each. Great touch, my kids really enjoyed this. To quote my 5 year old: “I wish we could live here”.

The breakfast was good. Although it can no longer run as buffet style, you are now given a menu to choose from either cooked breakfast or continental for both adults and children, with juice, tea or coffee. Portion sizes were good. We all had full tummies for our second busy day at the park.

The staff were friendly in both the hotel and park and we honestly had no problems with our stay at all. The kids, and us adults won’t forget this stay, thank you! We will definitely be returning sometime in the future when they reopen.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a TripAdvisor review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your visit to LEGOLAND, especially Brick or Treat at the Park. We’re delighted to hear that our staff had such a positive impact on your day! We will ensure your comments are passed onto the Managers. It does sadden us to hear your comments regarding queue length and wait times for our rides during your visit. Due to there being less room in our queues, less guests on rides, and rides needing to be cleaned often, the Resort will look like a regular Half Term day and queue times are similar to previous school holidays. We will ensure your comments are passed onto the relevant teams. We hope to have another opportunity to welcome you back for another awesome day! Kind Regards, The LEGOLAND Windsor Resort Team.

Just returned from a fantastic time at Santa’s Sleepover. The park felt very COVID-safe with masks compulsory in all indoor spaces, floor markings and plenty of hand sanitiser stations. All staff wore masks at all times too. Most rides were open with the exception of the water rides (rapids, boat ride etc) but it was far too cold even if they were open! MiniLand was fantastic as always, with plenty of Christmas additions to the models. We also Santa driving through the park.
We stayed in a Lego Friends hotel room, the decor was brilliant and my 5 year old daughter absolutely loved it. No Santa’s grotto visits are taking place so instead there was a letter from Santa and gift in the room. There was also a quiz to complete which unlocked the safe in the room to reveal another prize.
We ate in the Bricks restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. We had the 3 courses for £25 per adult & £15 per child and it was delicious. Breakfast this morning was great too.
Every staff member we came into contact with was very pleasant and helpful, they definitely helped make the stay extra special.
I really can’t recommend the Santa’s sleepover enough, it’s been a lovely way to start the festive period. We will definitely be returning next year. Thank you Legoland :-)

I reviewed this hotel in June last year when we first visited and rebooked because of the experience. Ninjago room, 1 night and we chose to stay here because of the overall experience and the advantages of early access to park. To be clear, there is no early access to the park anymore for the rides (you can still go in from 9.30am) and originally you were supposed to have priority access for an hour using a wristband. This is not happening because of social distancing and the way the queue lines are managed. I will write more on my review of the resort. You also can't use the hotel pool and splash area.
Still arrived at the hotel early and we were temperature checked and given a wristband to put on to show that it had been done and then collected a lift key from reception to access the park through the hotel. At the moment you can be directed around the hotel to a side gate to access park but we had a buggy so used the lift. We had booked a time to collect keys later, I also noticed on the 2nd day in the park that the kiosk in the Land of the Pharaohs was open for collecting hotel keys and info packs too. Good to know for the future as sometimes the queues can be long at reception.
I had already booked a table for evening meal at bricks restaurant but as our youngest was super tired we made the most of the pizza meal deal from the Skyline bar. £39.99 for 3 x pizzas, dough balls and 4 bottles of soft drinks (including innocent apple juice, fizzy drinks and oasis) It sounds expensive but it is cheaper than the restaurant, was great quality, we got it delivered to our room and it is a hotel so more expensive is expected! Definitely a good idea to do this and we hope it continues in subsequent years.
Breakfast at the restaurant to be honest was a more pleasurable experience than last year, still a buffet but you can only go up once when your buzzer sounds, order your hot drinks and then go around the buffet. The man on the reception desk of the restaurant was great (as were all the staff). It was a better experience as you didn't have loads of people rushing around and kids going up by themselves! You can get as much as you want.
The ninjago room was clean as it was last year and is themed so well. Make sure you know that a lot of the things have been removed to ensure that it is hygienic and safe - no cushions, throws, cups (paper cups supplied). So it is slightly different to the pictures on the website.
Kids get their own little box of lego too at the moment to play with in the room, rather than the bricks underneath the tv (Covid) which was well thought out and our kids loved the treasure hunt and gifts again.
Yes it was different because of Covid, but it was still an enjoyable stay and I would recommend.

I booked an overnight stay for my niece as a birthday present. We didn’t stay until 8 months after her actual birthday due to it not being in season so it would seem a bit wasted and we wanted to also try to avoid the chaos of peak season. I booked her the Lego friends room which whilst I have only seen pictures online the level of detailing in the friends room for the additional cost is worth it plus it’s her favourite. She really enjoyed her stay at the hotel, staff were very friendly, she enjoyed having her own little area to sleep in the room with her own tv so she could lie down in her bunk while watching the Lego channel. We didn’t eat dinner in the restaurant as she had dinner in the park at her favourite restaurant (farmer joes) but she did get dressed up for the evening entertainment which she enjoyed. I notified the customer services for the bookings that we were celebrating and they left her a Lego friends birthday card along with a birthday badge and balloon in the room. I also paid extra to have a birthday bundle in the room on arrival for her which included an Ollie the dragon plush, clown brickhead and other birthday themed goodies.

There was a puzzle sheet left in the room meant to be completed to get the code to the safe in the room and unlock it to reveal a small Lego prize, pop badge and lanyard. She had watched YouTube before going so knew this may still be a thing but she managed to crack the code before she even realised a sheet was there.

We didn’t notice any noise disturbances however we were on the end of a corridor, we could see the dragon outside the hotel from our room and when we opened the window we could hear him snoring which she loved.

Breakfast was good and she got to see pink brick and Ollie the dragon in his dressing gown on her way out of breakfast which she loved.

The overnight stay was expensive for 1 night however she really enjoyed her experience at the hotel and it will be a memory she won’t forget.

We are just back from our weekend trip to Legoland hotel and we couldn’t praise it more. We got all the entertainment within the hotel so storm Dennis couldn’t play a spoil sport. The price is also great value for money mind you it’s very popular during half term so please book the pool, dinner, breakfast in advance to avoid queues.
The checkin process is extremely smooth and we chose the Adventure rooms strongly recommend as they come with an amazing view of the lake.
The rooms are immaculate and we simply loved the Egyptian frescos on the walls. There is a Tiny fridge. The bunk bed is superb and the puzzles in the rooms are so cool. I have never been to a more kid friendly hotel with such five star precision.
The pool is just right size and perfectly fine for a weekend splash. Though more slides could make it more clumsy.
The brick pit and the movie rooms are awesome too.
The food is also well priced for a family of 4 we paid £53 but the variety for dinner blows your mind. I especially recommend their dessert platters.
The entertainment and bar are cool just that they should choose people and kids from the crowd and not keep it too restrictive to the hotel booking list. It is necessary wastage of time and brings anxiety to the kids in the crowd.
The breakfast next day was also great.
They have given us a pass to come back on a day of our desire to the park because we couldn’t avail it due to the bad weather conditions.

Thank you again!!!

We booked this prelockdown for our 2 girls and were a little nervous about going but it was great. The hotel and park were very organised for social distancing and there was plenty of hand sanitiser everywhere. There were staff everywhere cleaning and disinecting so it felt as safe as it could be.
Check in was quick and easy.
The hotel room (Ninjago) was brilliant, our girls loved it. They got a box of lego each to keep as well as the treasure hunt lego in the safe. Having the extra lego meant they could still play in their part of the room on the lego board on the wall and as a bonus we could take all the lego home.
We had takeaway pizza from the Skyline Bar in the evening which was great. I waited at the bar and it took about 10mins for the pizzas to be ready. Room service was an option but the girls wanted to have a wander round the hotel.
Breakfast was different as we had trays and could only go up to the buffet once. The cooked breakfast was great but the warmed toast and pancakes were cold by the time we ate them. Also the plastic wrapped croissants weren't as nice as freshly baked. However I don't know how this can be improved on in the current restrictions as I can completely understand you can't have unlimited access to the buffet at the moment. Overall the breakfast was good and my girls loved all the lego models in the restaurant.
Overall a very special treat and we had a great time in the hotel, would recommend.

If you ever stay around when the park is closed, your best chance of food is through the delivery apps. The food from the restaurant inside are as good as it gets and if you have a restaurant booking. They don’t serve food to the rooms, however you can collect food if you have containers to put them in.
