Stay here if you can. The hall dates from 1320 which is amazing in itself. The room we stayed in was lovely, stained glass windows and a huge roll top bath. On top of this the staff are super friendly and there are all sorts of little extras like after dinner drinks, croquet and afternoon tea. My one small moan...

"If I owned this property, I wouldn't want to share it with anyone"! This is a lovely, very old building but with clean, modern facilities. It is in an almost rural setting but right in the heart of Broadway and, although not an hotel, dining establishments are only a short stroll away. Wonderful, freshly cooked breakfast but the communal eating...

We stayed here for 2 nights and really enjoyed the location and amenities. The hotel has that real wow factor as you drive up to it. The rooms, we had 2, were a very comfortable size and quite bright considering the older windows. Rooms were nice and warm. Bathrooms were modern and clean. Breakfast, which was amazing, is served at...

My husband and I came to this B&B on the strength of fantastic TripAdvisor feedback. It is all true! It really is that great! The owners have thought of everything to ensure you have a relaxing stay. A lovely place to visit! We particularly liked the Grear Hall for complementary tea and cake and after dinner drinks. We stayed in...

Dear Katy, Thank you so much for writing and for your wonderful review! The Elizabethan Suite was actually Frank Millet's (Owner/Artist) favourite room and many of his most celebrated paintings were completed here. It was Millet under the guidance of William Morris who restored Abbots Grange in the late 1800's and went on to establish the arts and crafts movement...

We were met on arrival by Stacey (who is lovely) and shown to our room. This time we had booked the Abbots Chambers after seeing it on the web site. The room is extraordinary with huge 4 poster bed, big cast iron bath, open fire and high beamed ceiling. It is also in the oldest part of the property so...

I would just like to make prospective visitors aware that the hotel takes a 50 per cent booking fee. This is taken at point of booking, even if you are booking 6 or 7 months in advance. Thus the hotel has use of your money a long time before you visit. This I find this a little disconcerting and perhaps...

Abbots grange is a wonderful escape in the historic and beautiful village of Broadway. The history of this bnb is fantastic and the grounds are big with great views over the countryside. Unfortunately we had only booked to stay here for one night as we used it as stopping off point en route to a break in the South West. I say unfortunately, because having spent one night there, we would dearly have liked to stay longer, previous reviews say it all really so I cannot add much. I will reiterate that...

Abbot's Grange is a lovely place to stay when visiting Cotswold. It is in perhaps the prettiest towns in Cotswold- Broadway and it only enhances the beauty of Broadway even further. Our room (Morris) was superbly done. It had great views over the grounds in the front of the hotel. Attention has been paid to small details. This is true...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the lea of Broadway hill and standing in a little over eight acres of parkland grounds and gardens you will find the romantic Cotswold hideaway, Abbots Grange. Secluded, yet only 2 minutes walk from Broadway's 'picture perfect' village high street with its delightful array of independent boutique shops, restaurants and inns. This magical, award winning monastic manor has all the comforts you would expect from an AA five gold star 'highly commended' guest house. Bedrooms are equipped to a high standard with four poster beds, flat screen TVs and seating areas. Our premium accomodation, the magnificent Elizabethan Suite and Abbots Chambers can be booked directly through the Abbots Grange web site. Beds in all rooms and suites are dressed with the finest Egyptian cotton sheets to ensure a blissful nights sleep. Thick, fluffy white towels, bath robes and complimentary toiletries complete the en-suite bathrooms. The oldest dwelling in Broadway, Abbots Grange was built in about 1320 as the summer manor for the Abbot of Pershore. There are over 700 years of history to absorb here, perhaps while you unwind in front of the roaring log fire over afternoon tea... or by candlelight after dinner? Breakfast at Abbots Grange is a celebration of all things local. Served in the panelled dining room at the round table, you will find a mouth watering selection of fresh berries and seasonal fruits. Local sausages and smoked bacon together with Cotswold free range eggs. We offer a delicious vegetarian full English breakfast alternative, artisan baked breads and pastries from our own bakery - Huffkins - together with freshly brewed 100% Arabica coffees and loose leaf teas. ... more   less
