Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location of the Broadway Hotel is absolutely beautiful. Ideally placed to visit surrounding villages and towns. We stayed for two nights in a spacious room which was spotlessly clean. The breakfast was first class, we had both a starter and a main with an abundant amount of tea and toast! The staff were excellent, both friendly and professional. They went, in my opinion, the extra mile when I left a personal item behind - posting it first class the next day. I highly recommend The Broadway.

We have stayed in this hotel years ago it was beautiful then and it is just as good if not better now, although this is a 3 star hotel it could easily be a 4, the room was bright and airy very clean and tidy as was the bathroom with a very comfortable king sized bed, coffee and tea making facilities with fresh milk if you so wished. We stayed for 4 night and had dinner every night in the Tattersals restaurant, one of the evening's was for my wife's birthday the service and the food was exceptional worth every penny really well looked after nothing was too much trouble from all the members of staff. We will definitely be making a return trip again this year. This hotel give great value for money and well worth a visit.

The first picture on here is the back of the hotel and the front is much much nicer. The big trees have sparkly lights all year round. We were greeted by the friendly gorgeous little dog at reception and very upbeat receptionists. We had the four poster teal painted bedroom to go with the oka bedside tables and crisp bedding. I loved the William Morris wallpaper and the details... the Roberts radio, retro phone, great coffee machine, large room and new shiny ensuite. We had champagne waiting for us in the room, later we had dinner in the smart Tattersalls Brasserie where we had a passion fruit cocktail (really very good) recommended by the lovely South African waitress who was super friendly and helpful. My husband had the beef strips to start (divine) and I had the smoked salmon and cucumber with a possibly crayfish pate/mouse... light and delicious. Then he had the giant steak and red wine sauce and I had the chicken with the same sauce and dauphinoise potatoes. We both had the panna cotta with popcorn and little bits of loveliness. It was all delicious and not as the previous reviewer mentioned... stingy portions.. quite the opposite... 3 chicken breasts for my meal. We couldn't manage the coffee and petit fours. The absolute best bit was breakfast in bed....big shiny trays. We didn't have the pastries, crumpets etc but yoghurt and fruit and a full English .. massive silver pot of coffee and actually freshly pressed juices. I loved the way the breakfast menu had so much and broke it down to starter, main etc.. made me smile. The info had all the dates about the history of the building which was surprisingly interesting and on the way home we went to Broadway Tower. The only thing I would change, and it is being super picky and just my taste, would be the blinds and cushions as they were a bit busy ...with a horse racing theme but it is a horse racing themed hotel!

We stayed in Bumble Bee cottage while attending a family wedding. The cottage was spotless, extremely comfortable, dog friendly and we received a lovely welcome hamper! The bonus of private parking and the proximity to the high street was just perfect. We will definitely be staying here again on our next visit to Broadway!

My husband and I have just spent two nights at this wonderful hotel to celebrate a special birthday. From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out, we were made to feel very welcome and at home. All the staff we encountered were so friendly, helpful and professional. We stayed half board and can only say that the food, both breakfasts and evening meals were superb, both in presentation and taste. Our room was lovely too with the most enormous bed and was immaculately presented. We shall definitely be staying again when we next visit Broadway.

I was blown away by the cost of a single drink yesterday - £11.20, lunch was £21 both over priced - staff were great but you really will find people voting with their feet and trade will drop, the drink price in particular was extortionate! I am a local and will not be returning

These guys know how to look after guests (and their four legged friends) - their Team is just that, a Team and they all make sure you are catered for, whether it be from arrival at reception, in the bar or restaurant or if you need anything for your room they made us feel so welcome - great room (we took our choccie lab Martha with us and she was very happy), great food - we will be back - looking to try one of the cottages at some point too)... No complaints. We had 4 rooms. All clean, well equipped and well stocked. Public rooms were cosy and comfortable. Restaurant was excellent, bar similar and very busy. Whole place was busy with great atmosphere. Very professional and helpful reception. Happy to recommend. BTW book direct to get a better deal than on booking.com!
