My wife and I booked to stay at this site to break a trip to devon from Cumbria. I can understand why sites choose to close facilities like toilets and was rooms during Covid 19 but it would have been goo to inform People of this fact when booking so that they have the choose to go elsewhere which we would have. The site was well kept and reasonably priced but the lack of any facilities make it an unpleasant stay. Not much to do or see in the Ste’s either.
Fantastic site! well cared for and maintained, lovely owners fellow caravaners and campers, toilets and showers the cleanist we have visited, felt safe and secure, quiet and relaxing, dogs made to feel welcomed just had to take them to do their business along the road which for us was early morning and last thing at night as we were out & about during the day.
After being told that this site was dog friendly we took our Labrador with us, wish we had'nt! First thing we were told was that you cannot walk dogs on the site at all. We had to walk her on the road with no footpath or verge. All the traffic went past us at 60 mph. There are quite a few Public Footpaths which also are not dog friendly as all the stiles are covered with 'Stock Fencing' so dogs cannot go through them & Labs are too big to lift over!. We think it would be fairer to everybody if this site was advertised as being not suitable for dogs, it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt on that road. Apart from that the site is excellent, nice, clean shower / Toilet Block. Fishing is very good, any level of angler will catch fish.
Just returned from a lovely relaxing weekend in our caravan. Site is fantastically located within easy reach of M50, close to Malvern Hills, Upton on Severn & Tedbury. The site itself is well maintained, toilet block is immaculate & the fishing ponds are a beautiful setting, to relax & just watch the wildlife. You do need £5 refundable deposit for the toilet block & shower tokens are 25p each but lovely & warm. The weather was not kind to us but didnt stop us exploring the site & local area. Site is only open beginning of March to end of October. Very reasonably priced at £16 per night for pitch (2 people & electric hookup). We'll definitely be going back. The owners were very welcoming. Thanks both!
We stayed at King's Green for 4 nights. The site is very well run and a credit to the local community and volunteers who run it.We enjoyed our stay so much that we are hoping to stay there again in a few weeks.Keep the good work up Paul& Maureen XX
