This site is not for families, I would advise removing ‘family friendly’ from your website. Absolutely disgraceful owner, vile attitude towards children and disabled users. Pitches were so muddy and boggy they should not have allowed us to pitch up here, other users of the site had advised us it had been in this state for a good few weeks, so the owners knew that it would be unsuitable to pitch on, but did not bother to call us in advance to notify us! They were happy to take money for 4 pitches, but they were in no fit state to use. We were covered in mud and the children could not walk or play anywhere. My disabled son was unable to leave our campervan. If we had of known in advance we would have cancelled and gone elsewhere. Owner had told another caravaner to come and take our disabled key and tell us to go get our deposit back, I was disgraced. My son is SSI (blind) and has additional needs, we had paid the deposit for this key for the remainder of our stay and of course needed it, although the showers we so scalding hot that I was unable to shower my child! When owners granddaughter spoke to us about this, she stated that shouldn’t have happened as they have plenty of keys. When I asked the owner what this was about she started discriminating other members of our party that had their own disabled keys, stating they were not disabled and thought it was appropriate to laugh about the matter. A toddler on the gravel path on a balance bike (no pedals) was told by the owner to use it on the main country road, because ‘it’s the countryside love’ bearing in mind we live in the countryside ourselves, we did not think someone could be stupid enough to advise a toddler to ride on a 60mph road. Very condescending! Also told not to walk on grass areas and small game of children’s bowls was not allowed. Children were absolutely bored out of their minds, because camping is meant to be fun and outdoors, they had to stay in the tents/ motor home. Before going here, check all of the rules, if we’d have known we would not have chose this place. No ball games, no small balance bikes, no ‘exercising’ dogs, although you have to pay for them per night and there is absolutely nowhere to walk them other than a main road which is far too dangerous. Visors are charged to visit for the day, but told there is nowhere for them to park as car park only takes 5 cars. You have to pay for keys for ALL toilets, mens and women’s blocks (in the countryside, who is going to use these toilets unnecessarily?) you have to pay for shower ‘tokens’ which run for the exact amount of time for a very quick shower, although the showers are scolding hot, you cannot adjust this. When I asked the owner about it and told her I could not shower my children as it was too hot for the adults, she laughed! This site is suitable for caravans, as we observed it was used by elderly, retired people with caravans that pay seasonally, that did not step out of their caravans other than to fill up their water. They did not sit outside. This is not for family camping. Tents should not be allowed as the owner does not like them ruining her grass. We left 2 days early, it absolutely ruined our Easter bank holiday, especially for our children . We usually have the best times camping, we have never come across problems at any sites we have stayed at and we have been camping for many years. The problem with this site is the elderly lady, her granddaughter had pitched us and all was fine. Her grandmother had come along and had a problem with absolutely everything, but never once come and spoke to us nicely. We were refused a refund for the 2 days so between 4 parties they kept a lot of our money. They only take cash also, so they get to decide what money they keep. Funny that. Please do not waste your time, if you are looking for a camping holiday with your children (or dog) 🙂

The best campsite we have been to in years. Extremely clean facilities amazing staff friendly and helpful. Lots of places to walk the dog with lots of footpaths just a short distance out the site. Can even walk to the Malvern hills . They have rules no bike and ball games but things like this is why the campsite is so highly kept.

Upon entering the campsite I was introduced to an obnoxious elderly lady who looked at my kids in disgust. I was then led to a pitch in which was heavily water logged and upon erecting my tent was overshadowed by the owners who relentlessly asked me to park my car in the car park when the spaces were occupied by other campsite users. I was shouted at with my kids for walking across the grass towards the communial showers apparently causing damage to the lawn, also a quick five minute game of bowls was interrupted because again the danage to the grass would be an issue. I watched on many occasions as a five ton tractor drove across that exact patch of grass, it was after this that my kids felt victimised and upset. My disabled child was horridly burnt by the scolding hot dissability shower and upon presenting the injuries to the owner a light laugh and a demonstration of placing her own arm in the shower, was enough to suffice any attempts of sympathy. My children were constantly scowled at and it made them feel very uneasy, we felt imprisoned in our own tents as going outside seemed to be frowned upon by the owners. We left two days early and pitched up elsewhere into another campsite outside of the cotswolds where we are from. I am appauled by this experience and would advise any family with children to not camp here, as they are not FAMILY FRIENDLY.

This place is not even a 1 star! We have had the worst experience! We booked 4 x pitches as we were all going as a family, children, grandparents for a great Easter break! When we arrived we were told our pitches were water logged so we couldn’t use them(fair enough they can’t control the weather) they then said they have put us on the 4 middle pitches which they said they don’t normally like doing. They then told us not to park on the grass on the pitch(which is included in the price) and told us to park in the car park - the car park only has 5 spaces! And they were all full! We told them the carpark was full and where can we park and they got really angry with us and said you’re just going to have park on the grass. It says on the website it’s a family friendly site? I’ve never heard such rubbish! Family friendly? My 2 year old nephew had a little balance bike-no peddles! The older lady came over over in the most abrupt tone and said NO bikes allowed, we explained it’s got no peddles and it was just him pushing himself on the path and not the grass -she then said No bikes you will have to go on the road if he wants to go on his bike. The campsite is on a main 60MPh road! Who suggests that a 2yr old goes on a main road to ride his bike! Her attitude is disgusting. They then were watching us walking to toilets and shower blocks. We have 3 disabled people on this camping trip and all in different tents and they accused us of lying that the people were not disabled as they didn’t have a physical disability?! Even though I emailed 4 weeks prior to coming about getting disabled keys and about the peoples disability! But they had no issue is taking the deposit for the disabled key! They then moaned at us because we left mud in the toilet blocks! It’s been horrid weather, how can we not get mud on the floor ? It’s impossible and other campers were using the toilets but nothing was said to them! We camp multiple times a year and have never had felt so unwelcome at a campsite! They done everything in there power to get us to leave. We paid for 4 nights and we could only cope with 2 days of being here! They made comments about my weight and when we told them we were leaving they said we had to leave by 8pm! I told them we have paid till Monday so we will leave whatever time we want tonight!! They had my 75 year nan in tears with his rude they were to her. The showers were that hot you couldn’t even stand in them and they had no gage to turn the heat down! We asked if they could turn the temperature down and they told us the temperature it’s fine and we are just trying to cause unnecessary trouble. We couldn’t even give the kids a shower as it was that hot it would scold them! We spoke to other people on the campsite who agreed the water is too hot and they had already told the staff. I have never in all my years of camping found a campsite so rude, nasty and horrible to paying customers! We paid over £500 between us for 4 nights and left after 2! They refused to give us a refund as it was our choice to leave! Even though they had done everything they could to make us feel unwelcome. I am not going to stay somewhere that makes comments about my weight and appearance, and who makes my 75 yr old Nan cry! They should be ashamed! I warn anyone who is looking at this site to stay away and spend your money else where!! Unless you want to be bullied by the staff!

This is a well maintained farm site with clean facilities within 5 minutes of the M50 J2 (15 mins from M5 J8). Some touring pitches but mostly seasonal caravan pitches. They do charge tourers £2 per night for each dog, claiming to be 'dog friendly' but have no dog facilities at all, dogs have to be walked off site on a fast road with no footpaths or lighting even though they could easily fence off a small area on their land. There is a small charge for showers and a deposit required for key access to toilets. The walks around the fishing pools are nice (no dogs allowed). More of a couples site. The family are mostly pleasant but some need a lesson in good customer relations.

Arrived at this site in torrential rain we’d asked for hard standing pitch but we’re told none were available although throughout the weekend we could see loads of empty hard standing .pitches.the rain got worse but no one bothered to check if everyone was alright. All we ended up doing was ruining the grass and getting our car stuck other people did too. Certainly not a site I would recommend

We are very sorry that you had this problem but all our hard standing pitches are seasonal pitches so this is why you were told there was no available.

We have just spent 5 days here, should of been 2! We found it very friendly so decided to stay a few more days. The campsite is spotless. Lovely walk around the fishing lakes with seating areas to sit and take some time out. We were very fortunate to arrive when they were having a prize giving evening and were invited. Such good fun playing skittles and bingo to raise money for the Air Ambulance. We were made very welcome.

Booked this site as when I called I asked if it was dog friendly and the answer was yes! However this site is not dog friendly as you can not walk your dog around the site and I couldn’t even walk her down to the fishing lake where my husband spent a few hours fishing. You have to pay for your dog to stay on the site yet they can not step foot out on the site. Friendly campers around us felt a bit squeezed in where we were but the site is kept nice just not the site for us unfortunately. They could do with advertising this site as no dogs allowed really and it’s too dangerous to walk your dog along the lane for the toilet. My dog came away more stressed than when we got there. Lovely site but will not return.

On the surface the this site is pretty and well kept….HOWEVER be wary, the owners are money grabbers not to mention obnoxious and rude. We arrived after a 5 hour journey I went to pay for our pitches over £218 for 4 nights we paid cash upfront. (Side note they charge extra for awnings, dogs and children). We had been set up for about 3 hours. By this time it was 8pm I had just got my 2 year old daughter to sleep in our caravan, I walk out to find the owner hurling verbal abuse at my elderly mother who is on her own. Naturally I walk over to find out what’s happened this is when I hear him call her evil. I couldn’t believe it apon further investigation me and my husband surmised that there had been a complaint made by the van adjacent to us that “the way we parked our caravan had blocked their sun light” and when the owner came over to speak to us we were inside putting our daughter down to sleep so my mother politely informed him that we wouldn’t be moving our van as we had just got our daughter to sleep. Long story short I spoke to the neighbouring van and asked them why they waited until we had put up our awning and settled in before mentioning it. (They were sat chatting to us) And that we would move the van first thing in the morning when my daughter was awake. However the owner still wasn’t happy he didn’t think it was unreasonable to wake up a sleeping baby to move a caravan in the now dark so we weren’t blocking the sun. But we agreed to move in the Morning. Morning came however and we awoke to the owner prodding around our allotted pitch. I felt very unwelcome and my mother was still very upset at being shouted at and called evil. So we decided to move in to another site if they agreed to refund us our money for the remaining 3 nights. They then proceeded to keep over £118 of our money and told us to get off their site.they changed their story to say that how we parked our van was illegal (it wasn’t) infact the van that had made the complaint were parked against fire regulations. They gave us back £90 of our £218 for 4 nights we only stayed 1 they refused to give back the refundable deposit for the toilet keys (£5 each we had 3) or the shower tokens again we were told at check in they were refundable. The owners and all there family became very threatening so we had to record our interactions as we all felt very unsafe. The rest of the residents staying were also completely baffled by how we were being treated. Don’t stay here! You can’t even walk your dogs on the site they make you walk them along a very busy road with no foot path.

Arrived with caravan motorhome after 5 hour drive at 5pm. Shown to pitches by owner. 3 hours later having just settled 2 year old to sleep, owner came over and said neighbouring pitch was complaining that we were "blocking the light" and could we move. Explained that we were not about to disturb little one til the morning and neighbours were facing the opposite direction anyway. Owner was very rude and said I was " one of those who won't be told" " inconsiderate " and "evil". He then said that I " didn't like it when he told me not to walk the dog on the site" I reminded him that I had been perfectly reasonable and taken the dog back to the van immediately I questioned why there were no signs advising no dog walking and was told that nobody reads signs. The following morning site owner started again but gave a different reason for moving, telling us we were pitched illegally, facing the wrong way though there were other vans parked the same way. Not wishing to cause problems we decided to move sites and asked for a refund for remaining 3 nights. Site owners refused to return any money and also retained so-called refundable deposit for returned shower keys and unused tokens totalling more than £100.
