This hotel is simply lovely! A great place for stopping over night when away for work. The owners and staff are kind, very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very nice, with comfortable beds, spacious rooms, huge bathrooms great quality linen and fluffy white towels! there is tea/coffee and bottled water supplied along with aromatic bath salts in the bathroom....

Very friendly professional service at this hotel. Room was excellent with a spacious bathroom and view over the Malverns. Breakfast had plenty of choice and the full English was delicious with very generous portions and well cooked. The poached eggs were the best I had had for a long time. We will return to this hotel in the future x

You have the priory, Morgan's factory, if you are interested in cars, the town is half way up the hills , for those keen on walking, the hotel staff are very friendly, the food is excerlant, and they have live music most of the week, which finishes at...

My latest stay at the GMH might be the best yet. Once again the staff took care of my every need from watching American Football in the Sports Pub to hot water with lemon and honey every morning to help me cope with the cold I caught on the plane ride over. Jeremy the owner even included me in their...

The hotel is extremely well located at the heart of Great Malvern making it the perfect resting point for theatre goers, walkers, shoppers or general visits. There is a small car park for guests to use which is an added bonus over other hotels in the town centre. The hotel serves both continental and English breakfasts, with the former a...

Went to Malvern to see a show and had time for some lunch. Looked on the web beforehand and this Hotel was not featured?? We came across it when exploring the town and entered via the back. Initially appeared tired and in need of a refurb but had a welcoming and cosy atmosphere. However when we walked through to the...

Thank you for your comments - I remember serving you and am chuffed you enjoyed your lunch. The side entrance was redecorated to that standard on "purpose" last year - at great expense. We have tried to return it to its former Victorian glory with Anaglypta wallpaper, antiques & a beautiful new floor. That said - its not to everyone's...

Stayed for Saturday night as part of a theatre break. Just a couple of minutes walk to the theatres and in the centre of Malvern - though that is not saying much as it is a very small place! Stayed in room 5, a twin room overlooking the road but no real road-noise to speak of - though it is...

Another weekend at the Great Malvern. Jeremy and team continue to offer good value, great beer and a first class breakfast, the bacon is especially good. It’s a good base to explore from, return to and relax in. Improvements to the hotel continue with new carpet and little touches to the room. The beds are comfy and the rooms warm....

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Great Malvern Hotel is perfectly situated in the heart of Great Malvern. We are a friendly, family run business offering comfortable accommodation, great food, and good, old fashioned hospitality and service. Built in 1842 the hotel has been updated whilst still retaining many of it's historical features. The Sutton Family bought The Great Malvern Hotel in 1999, with the intention of running a small town centre hotel which had been an ambition of Jeremy. Rani, his wife, his children and parents have a day to day influence in the hotel and are supported by long standing members of staff. Good accommodation, good food and fine CAMRA cask ales. ... more   less
