Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This hotel is by far one of best we have stayed in in the UK! The Staff are exceptional so polite and friendly, nothing to much trouble - massive asset to the hotel. We ate in the restaurant both nights of our stay and the food was impressive and delicious big up to the chef! The room was warm, cosy, clean and pillows soooo fluffy! Its a perfect location for a walk over the Malvern Hills after those big breakfasts! I personally cannot comprehend anyone complaining about this hotel but suppose you cant please everyone! I would highly recommend anyone to stay here and we will definitely be back.

The food was pretty average, fish and chips only ok. Large battered fish was tasteless, chips warm, for £18 … not good. Gammon eggs and chips….. gammon thin and chewy, egg overdone and chips soggy…£17! But lovely service and dining room Maybe it was just a very busy lunchtime.

Our second visit to this hotel and requested room 105 again as it has the comfiest biggest bed we’ve ever been in! Once again the hotel was immaculate, the food excellent and the staff friendly and efficient. My one request to them (and all hotels) when a customer asks for ketchup please please please stop using those infuriating little sachets. It’s a hotel not Macdonald’s! If you can actually get one open you end up with ketchup / mustard etc all over your fingers and none on your chips! Everything else in this hotel is top quality so this bit of penny pinching was disappointing., but this aside we would recommend this place 100%.

Had a meal with lots of friends. I couldn't fault the service, especially the friendly young staff who were most attentive, but the food was incredibly disappointing and not worth the prices. If I go out for a meal, I want something tasty, nicely cooked and a bit unusual, better than I can do myself. This wasn't the case here, and I am absolutely no chef! I won't be rushing back, nor recommending it to anyone else sadly.

Myself and my husband have returned from a two night stay at this hotel and were incredibly impressed with it from start to finish. The staff are so nice and friendly they are always welcoming and helpful. Rooms are very good value with lovely furnishings and a relaxing large bathroom. Breakfast is good (could be improved by fresher products and more variety - but still pretty good). Definitely recommend this lovely place.

Food generally over cooked. E.G Tuna which I requested cooked pink when ordering was actually overdone & accompanied by poor quality unappealing sauce. Indifferent tasting glass of Sauvignon blanc. Service rather slow. Good views from restaurant.

I’m astonished this place has only 4 stars. This is the best service we’ve had in a long time. We had Sunday lunch which we turned up an hour early for but they didn’t bat an eyelid. The service was fantastic - drink service was so quick and food was reassuringly timed and such great quality. Honestly this is a total gem of a place and thoroughly recommend.

Family reunion of 12 handled professionally by the waiters, everyone enjoyed their meals with those that had selected from the daily specials menu being well impressed. Pre lunch drinks on the terrace was very pleasant, this establishment very popular with dog owners and outdoor meals looked great.WELL DONE

We stayed here for two nights prior to attending a wedding. The room (206) was very comfortable with a big bathroom and a view of the hills; the extra fan which we were given was very welcome given that we were there on the hottest day of 2023! The staff were friendly and efficient; the restaurant (air-conditioned) was spacious with a good variety of menus; I recommend the gammon and chips if you're really hungry - it was an enormous portion. Plenty of parking and proximity to Malvern and Worcester made our stay very interesting. On arrival we were told that the wifi was not always reliable and to come down to reception if we had trouble connecting; it was very flaky and often we couldn't connect. On leaving I mentioned this and asked where the main router was situated. "Downstairs" I was told. I'll Ieave the techies among you to work out where the problem might be! But we did enjoy our stay and I must say that we would book again if ever in the area as it was ...(see review title).
