We stayed for one night here. Whilst in need of modernising the hotel was clean and pleasant. We had a very nice room overlooking the garden at the back. The Waitrose nearby in no way impinged on the lovely outlook. An added bonus was the calling of Owls at dusk. Breakfast was fair excellent muesli and lots of fruit the...

Booked this at the last minute and from the reviews I was expecting to stay somewhere fairly average but not outstanding. Upon our arrival, I knew straight away that this was not going to be an enjoyable experience. Straight away my payment was processed, without any warmth or hospitality which one would expect. We were shown to our room, which...

This hotel is a bit old fashioned but very pleasant. My wife and I were made to feel welcome on arrival and shown to a spacious first floor room with en suite facilities and a comfortable king size bed. Tea and coffee facilities were provided and a rather small but capable Freeview TV was provided. We brought our own hair...

Well positioned B&B for the town and for setting off for walk from St. Anne's well. B&B was warm, comfortable and welcoming. Very quiet November midweek and we were the only guests. Breakfast was very good and generous with plenty of choice. Not normally a Costa customer but had a very enjoyable coffee there as its just round the corner.

Stayed here last night while in Malvern for a concert. First impressions ? - a nice classic house but in a bit of a time warp. The owner greeted us and showed us to our smallish room at the rear of the hotel. Furnishings were also "classic" and the strange cupboard / wardrobe would be too small for stays longer...

We stayed in a twin bedroom at the front of the hotel for two nights last weekend. The Montrose feels like a slightly old-fashioned kind of B&B, but our room was warm and clean, with comfortable beds, and a good shower over the bath. It's situation could not have been much more central and convenient for shops, restaurants, theatre and...

The Montrose is a good standard B&B. Rooms are clean and comfortable although some are small especially at the rear of the premises. The charges are a tad to expensive but presumably reflect the private parking and the proximity to the centre of Great Malvern. Small things let this B&B down - the welcome tray was a poor effort a...

One night theatre stay. Found the room clean, the bedding fresh and the beds comfortable. The room was warm though a little tired. Facilities could not be faulted but from the inside it looks and feels like a B&B. Good off-road parking facility.

having stayed here previously some 20 years ago, we were pleased to discover still run by the same family and still homely, friendly, comfortable and good value. some of the furniture and carpets looking a little tired, but other than that no complaints.

Stayed for one Friday night, building had lot of character. Very close to center of Great Malvern approx 5 mins walk max. Plenty of off road parking. Bathroom had both bath and shower. Room very clean and comfy bed. Breakfast very good, freshly cooked. Polite owner would definitely return if visiting the area.
